It overlooks the street so accept there will be town noise on a Friday./Saturday night. Does mean it is superbly situated for city exploits. Only negative was parking. It was a busy weekend and the assigned car-park had only once space."

"I booked a single room which was basic but had everything I needed for a quick stopover. The hotel is on the flight path so expect to hear the planes! The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with outside seating . Food was good, restaurant staff very friendly. Just a tip (and nothing to do with the hotel) if you book a taxi at the airport from the only taxi supplier to the hotel and back , it’s going to cost best part of £50! "

"I love this place! It’s beautifully peaceful, but for one night when they had a wedding with music well past 23:00. Still, worth it to stay here right by the water. They have the best views I’ve found in Cambridge. The high tea offering sadly is only a teapot with a tea bag (which makes the American high tea I’ve experienced far better!) but the sandwiches and pastries are certainly tasty."
