「Nice place and enjoyed our stay. My only recommendation is to turn the window unit on prior to guest arriving. It was ninety degrees outside and felt about the same inside the house. It took until the next morning to cool it down enough. Otherwise beautiful stay on the lake. Thank you. 」

「From the minute you walk in it is beautiful and the smell is so nice. It was so clean I have ocd so was so thankful of the cleanliness. I would come back and refer this place again.Also the owner left me a gift for my birthday that meant the world to me.」

「We had a great time in Union City. The view from the deck overlooking the lake is pretty spectacular. The house had plenty of space with its 4 bedrooms. It was also nice taking the boat out during the day for suntanning, and in the morning for fishing. 」

The depth around the dock is just right for wading, playing, or jumping into a kayak. Our host communicated clearly and quickly, displaying a sincere desire for a pleasant stay.」

「We had an absolutely perfect stay over Labor Day weekend. Plenty of space for ourselves and our five children (ages 4-15), and everyone had a great time. Exactly the laid back, quiet goodbye to summer we were looking for!! The kids caught tons of fish from the dock, and we all enjoyed kayaking on the clear-as-glass water. The house itself was charming and we enjoyed finding new antique treasures in every corner through the weekend. Exactly as a Michigan cottage should be! 」

「Perfect little lake cottage! We would return in a heartbeat and never leave! Great hosts.」

「Serene! We had an absolutely lovely time. The cottage is cute and cozy and was spaced out to fit 5 guests surprisingly well. The lake was so calm and beautiful, hardly any boats, and lots of wildlife to see. Christin was a marvelous host; she was very speedy with all responses, and super accommodating. 」

「The location was good for our tour of Hillsdale College. Hadn't been to Michigan before and the countryside is beautiful. I wish the trip could have been later in the Fall when the colors come out because that would be awesome. Very nice place to get away and relax. 」

「We had two of the cabins on this property with Family! Our stay was wonderful! People on the lake, so the dock was helpful. The kids enjoyed the beach and the swim raft! Having use of the kayaks, wasn’t Added bonus. Great memories made!」
