We had a wonderful stay at the Red Elk Lodge! There were 15 in our group…ranging from age 10 to 70, and all of us enjoyed the house and its amenities immensely. The house was very clean and fully equipped. It is a great stay for any family looking to relax and enjoy some time in a beautiful location.
This house was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas with our large family. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The setting is peaceful and relaxing.
We could not have found a better place, it was quiet and secluded. The fishing was fantastic, and the property had every amenity that could be thought of.
Fantastic location and home. We absolutely loved the setting and being able to let the kids fish from dock and others to jump in the canoes and get to the ‘real’ fishing areas. We also loved the fire pit and openness of the place. Super roomy with everything you need for a great vacation.
We had a great stay at Red Elk Lodge! It was a beautiful, well stocked home that my whole family enjoyed. We hope to stay there again in the future. The property manager was very helpful and answered our questions very quickly. Would definitely recommend this property for a beautiful, relaxing vacation.
The property was beautiful!! Everything you could imagine to meet our needs was supplied. The host was very helpful and was quick to answer any questions. The only wrinkle was learning to navigate the driveway but with the helpful suggestions listed in the our welcome letter, that was quickly accomplished. Highly recommend
Great place. Very well stocked with just about everything you could need other than food of course. Quiet setting with no interruptions. We look forward to returning again.
Perfect getaway for Christmas. Plenty of room to spend time with family. The porch is relaxing sitting in the rocking chairs enjoying the view. They have everything you need there to cook. Definitely would book there again.
We were blown away with our accomodations at the lodge, very clean ,warm and friendly. It met our needs to a tee. Much to do and see, canoeing ,pool, firepit and a great meeting place for our family. We had a couple of issues which were handled immediately by Michael who was an excellent host. Would go back to stay anytime. Wonderful family experience. Mike
This was a great place for my family to meet up with our friends. We both have large families and the lodge accommodated us very well. Everything was as advertised. The kitchen really facilitated both families with dual everything. We loved the canoes and enjoyed a lot of time canoeing around the water, fishing on the dock and campfire by the water.
This huge cabin was great; it had plenty of room and space that was perfect for all being together and yet if you needed space, you could find someplace to go. The huge kitchen, double fridge/freezers, electric oven and gas stovetop/oven made it convenient for us to cook meals; and the huge dining table allowed us to eat together. The wrap around porch with grill, pool table and rocking chairs made it a fun place to hangout. We enjoyed the huge fire pit several evenings down near the shoreline. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely book it again in the future.in the the evenings.

Taneycomo lake property
It was nice with plenty of room. We wish there would have been better lighting so we could see better to play games and do puzzles. The lake was scummy not appealing for swimming at all.
We had 7 people who shared the lodge, everyone loved having their own king size bed and their own bedroom. The kitchen is to died for, double ovens, double coffee pots, double refrigerators, 5 gas burners and pretty much any kitchen tools & supply's you could need. Our group are long time friends that enjoy getting together for relaxing, playing games, cooking and using minimal energy exertion- we call it the Big Chill. Unfortunately, this year was truly a Big Chill event because we lost a member right before this years event. RIP Jimmy Holley!
The dock area was pretty mossy but we still had someone who fished and caught three small fish (but he put them back). We built an amazing fire in the fire pit and enjoyed the evening listening to music and remembering those that we loved and lost. We played several games and enjoyed several meals at the large dinning area. We played pool but we had to share the only pool stick that had a felt tip. I bet Management might not be aware that the pool sticks have no felt tips. Big Chill members gives this place total thumbs up and would re-rent again in the future. Thank you, Lori (Big Chill Organizer)
This house is huge and spacious! Lots of outdoor space esp with the 2 porches on the backside looking at the lake. The kitchen was very large and had everything you could ever need! Plenty of large bedrooms and bathrooms. Great for a large family or large gathering. Would highly recommend this place. It was really close to Branson Landing. Everything was a close drive but located away from the traffic.
The property has an amazing deck that wrapped around… 15 of us were able to do puzzles hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery for our graduation vacation! This was probably one of the best kited out kitchens we have had with VRBO.
We had a great time at the house for a multigenerational family vacation! There was plenty of room for the 13 of us. We really enjoyed the canoes. It was the perfect location for doing activities in Branson, so close but felt secluded. Highly recommend!
The house was spacious and comfortable for a large family group. The large kitchen with two refrigerators was a real plus and a large dining room table allowed us all to eat together as a family. The young adults enjoyed the pool table and outdoor space. The dock and the canoes were a big hit with the guys.
