Check in was okay, we were placed in the other building on the second floor, the ac does not work on this floor- it's cold on the first but as soon as you get off the elevator onto the second floor you're hit with heat. The rooms are so hot and the ac won't cool them off, no matter what you try. I called downstairs and was told there was nothing they could do as they do not have keys to the hallway thermostat- I walked to see what it was set to and it was set to HEAT, it was 80 degrees in the hallway and miserable. They gave us a fan to use- said the owner was not in the area and they could not get ahold of them, I will be calling corporate and have a picture of the thermostat to prove it. Another guest heard and used a wire hanger through the crack and was able to change it it to cool but could not change the degrees, it wouldn't cool down because it was already so hot in the heat of Texas. The pool is heavily chlorinated so beware of your eyes and nose burning the entire time there.
Lady at the front desk was nice and tried to be helpful but she can only do so much. Definitely needs to be taken care of- you have paying guests here who didn't pay to sweat and be hot all day and night.
