Property could use a good cleaning
My expectations werent outrageous, but I did expect a clean room and property. We were placed in a room that was not cleaned upon arrival but the property manager was quick to reconcile the issue and was very apologetic so we looked past it. Upon further inspection of our room, there was hair left behind from the previous guests in the shower and bathroom sink. Our feet were also black from the dirty floors. I didnt feel comfortable walking around without shoes. The property allowed dogs which is why we chose the location as we were traveling with our dog. There was nowhere to walk her as the entire property is asphalt and gravel. There were also cigarette butts and trash everywhere outside. The pool was clean, but it seems like long term guests just leave their pool toys, rafts, goggles, etc just laying around. It made the pool area look like we were walking into someones backyard pool after a party. The location was great. Very close to SDC. Beds were decently comfortable, and refrigerator was a good size and very cold. It was ok for a quick overnight but we ended up leaving early as there just wasnt much to desire to stay longer.
