No other rental groups will be on the island during your Entire Island reservation.



BATHROOM ACCESS:



Your group has access to:



• One private in-house Main Cottage bathroom with toilet, sink and shower

• One separate toilet-and-sink room in the group bathroom building

• One separate shower room in the group bathroom building

• One private glamping convenience toilet for urination only

• One outdoor heated rinse shower



The toilet-and-sink room and separate shower room have their own entrances and may be used independently.



ACCESS AND MOBILITY:



Please review these access details before booking:



• All four Main Cottage bedrooms are upstairs

• Waterfront Glamping requires climbing 10 outdoor steps

• The glamping main-bathroom route requires descending those 10 steps and climbing 28 additional steps

• The Floater bathroom route includes an uphill outdoor walk and exactly 25 stairs

• The island has natural outdoor terrain, waterfront paths, docks and changing surface conditions

All motorized-boat operators must be at least 18 and complete the required Grant Island Rentals livery orientation.



The included pontoon has a maximum capacity of eight people.



Certain locations remain private or restricted to management. Please respect all signs, barriers and operational boundaries.



The Neighborhood:

Grant Island is a privately owned 1.4-acre island on public Brantingham Lake in the Adirondacks.



Your group reserves every guest accommodation and all designated guest-use areas on the island. The separate management residence remains occupied so management can maintain the property and assist guests.



Brantingham Lake itself is a public lake. Other residents, property owners and recreational boaters may be on the water.



The lake is known for:



• Boating

• Fishing

• Swimming

• Kayaking and paddling

• Loons and other wildlife

• Adirondack sunsets

• Dark skies and stargazing

• Seasonal natural cold-water immersion



On the nearby mainland, guests will find two popular restaurants and bars, a local general store and seasonal recreation.



The surrounding Adirondack and Tug Hill region also offers hiking, state parks, horseback riding, regional wineries and other outdoor activities.



Because Grant Island is accessed by boat, bring the food, beverages, clothing, medication and personal supplies your group expects to need.



Getting Around:

You do not need to own a boat to reserve Entire Grant Island.



COORDINATED MAINLAND ARRIVAL:



All guests arrive at the designated mainland parking area.



Because the reservation may include up to 17 people and the included pontoon has a maximum capacity of eight, guests and belongings are transported to Grant Island in multiple coordinated pontoon trips.



Your group should plan to arrive within one agreed arrival window whenever possible.



Scattered arrivals may require additional coordination and may delay transportation.



We meet your group at the mainland parking area, help load guests and belongings, and operate the pontoon during the initial transfers.



MOTORIZED-BOAT ORIENTATION:



During the arrival process, approved operators receive the Grant Island Rentals livery orientation.



The orientation covers:



• Boat controls

• Docking procedures

• Passenger and loading limits

• Operating boundaries

• Navigation lights

• Life-jacket and flotation requirements

• Charging procedures for electric boats

• Fuel-level monitoring

• How to request a pontoon refill

• After-dark guidance

• Emergency and safety procedures

The included pontoon may be used for:



• Mainland transportation

• Recreational lake cruising

The maximum capacity is eight people.



Fuel is included.



When fuel becomes low or the tank is empty, notify management and we will refill it.



After-dark boat operation is allowed only when required navigation lights are working and proper flotation devices are worn. Guests must bring a working flashlight and must remain visible to other potential nighttime boaters.



FOUR ELECTRIC BOATS:



After orientation, registered guests may use the four electric boats interchangeably.

MANAGEMENT TRANSPORTATION:



If members of your group do not want to operate the included boats, management is available to assist with transportation using another pontoon boat.

PARKING:



All guest vehicles and trailers remain on the mainland.



The mainland parking area generally accommodates approximately four to five standard vehicles, depending on vehicle and trailer sizes.



All vehicles and trailers must be disclosed before arrival.



Additional approved parking may be arranged up to a maximum of seven total vehicles.



Each vehicle beyond the confirmed standard parking allocation carries an additional fee of $50 per reservation.



Trailers count as vehicles.



Do not arrive with additional vehicles or trailers unless they have been approved and included in the confirmed parking plan.



Interaction with Guests:

We coordinate a mainland arrival window with your group before check-in.



Because the included pontoon holds a maximum of eight people, a large Entire Island group is transported to Grant Island in multiple pontoon trips.



We meet your group at the mainland parking area, help load guests and belongings, and operate the pontoon during the initial transfers.
