“Stunning bathroom plenty of room in the shower bed very comfortable only negative was the floor boards creaking when getting out of bed going to the bathroom but that was nothing serious staff excellent and the hotel very clean excellent 10 out of 10 I will definitely stay again ”
“I've used the F&G over many years. It's a decent independent hotel which has recently refurbished at least some of its rooms. If you're fed up of chains, try the F&G.”

access to top floor was not suitable for oap, too many stairs with no help from staff with luggage. Dining area/ bar closes very early and with erratic times. Room was very good, clean and well aired. Shower was a bit weak but hot. Food was acceptable”
“Stayed for just 1 night but a beautiful hotel only downside was the room the pictures made the room look alot bigger and the walls and bathroom werent very clean but other than that a great stay”
“Lovely stay . Rooms ample size , reception staff and bar staff very friendly and helpful, evening entertainment was great . Very close to the beach and pier and shops .Only downside was the noise from traffic if your room is on the front of hotel as no double glazing as its an old building, otherwise perfect. ”
