Ski Trip

We had a group of 8 for a ski trip and this property was ideal for us. Very clean and close to the ski lifts. Communication also was very good leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely consider this property in the future.

Only feed back is a few guest had a hard time with the house being hot and cold and getting the thermostat to work and they don’t send check in instructions a day or two before so that cause a lot of stress.

Great Family Spot

Went to Breckenridge to ski/ board, celebrating my 50th with family and friends, a total of 14 of us. The house was awesome and had plenty of space for each of our 3 families to spread out and yet stay close and enjoy each others company. So easy to get to Breck, and with all the kids, that was a must. House was perfect and the amenities were plentiful. Any issues that came up were handled and communicated back expertly. The home is updated with new carpet amd hardwood plus ALL the bathrooms are updated, althoguth the pictures may not show it. They even had firewood we could use to start a fire in the fireplace. Overall great stay and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Spacious home, well suited for large groups

House has 3 levels, so it’s well suited for large groups. Plenty bed options, but all mattresses are Ultra Firm & no one in our group of 16 thought their bed was comfortable. Kitchen has a great set up with plenty utensils & lots of dining space. Our biggest kitchen complaint was all the pots/pans were old & very sticky! This really added to our workload and cleanup time & it would’ve been nice to have had small size plastic cups for the children. The property management company was superb because when we had a clogged drain they came within a few hours to rectify the problem. Overall, because of size & location it was a good choice for our family vacation.

Check in was very easy and Summit Rental was very responsive to any questions we had pre,during and post the stay.We had several meals with a large group and was great to have all the pots, pans and utensils to make and serve the meal. Family Staycation away from Home!

We booked this property because of the space! Our three kids and their families joined us for a wonderful trip to Breckenridge. Everyone had their own space with a bathroom and could get together in the large living room, kitchen, and dining area. It was a wonderful way to spend a week together.

A 29 year annual get together. "Beerfest" came west this year for 14 members of a very close "family" of friends. The home provided enough room, privacy and extravagance for a very special experience. The location and some cold brews did the rest.

Great location but not ski-in for average skiier

The home is beautiful and easily fit our group of 19. The location was great, but it was advertised as a "ski-in" rental, which requires significant traversing and not for your beginner - average skier. The property managers were responsive but we did run into a couple issues during our stay - beds were configured incorrectly (left as kings, rather than separated per request), broken ice machine. For most rentals, I haven't had to call property management, so this was unusual for me and not very convenient. However, they were responsive when we needed them.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this home is it's best asset (close to the gondola, etc.) and the hot tub was relatively new and well-maintained. On the minus side, however: - we were disappointed to discover we had to clean some pots and pans before using them (oily, greasy, etc.)-we had to call management to get dish washer soap-the home and furnishing is dated overall, considering the price-the picnic table on the deck needs replacing- the bison head above the fireplace needs a good dusting (or it may be its gray mane shows it is old)- the kitchen floor was not cleaned.Somewhat disappointing, given the price.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this property! 10 of us took advantage of all that the home had to offer. We really loved the amount of space for all of us to spend together. The dining table was perfect for family meals and the living area was roomy. The kitchen, with some exceptions, was well-stocked and provided enough room to cook our meals. Bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. We did have a few problems with things breaking down and some cleaning issues. The refrigerator was very warm when we arrived and, though the management company quickly responded, a service did not come out until the next day. They stated that the condenser coils were so dirty they were surprised it was even working. The electricity in one of the rooms did not work and required us to jerry-rig extension cords until another repairman came out the next day as well. The hot tub worked inconsistently until another repairman came out the next day. Additionally, the house was not very clean. Most rooms were very dusty and cobwebby. The drawers in the kitchen and the items in them needed to be washed. The floors need needed to be cleaned. There were no washcloths in the kitchen and very few towels in the bathroom. Renters should know that the deck is very small and the property is above a very noisy road. All of this being said, if the cleaning and repair issues are addressed this would be a fabulous rental.
