Beautiful home in ideal location

We had a fantastic stay at Rivertree. The blue river running through the backyard and the Mountain View out the front window was phenomenal. And yet you're only a few minutes away from stores, restaurants, the adventure park, skiing, and anything else you would want to do. The house itself was grand yet charming, and well appointed with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Second stay

This was our second time at the lodge and we absolutely love the property. Very peaceful and relaxing out on the patio and deck when the stream is running. The one downside this trip was the cleanliness. For a very high cleaning fee I would expect this place to be spotless like it was the first time we stayed. They could also outfit the kitchen with additional wine and cocktail glasses. The rental management company communicated throughout the trip and we would still recommend you book this place if available.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin and location were absolutely wonderful! We spent Christmas here with a large group and the cabin offered a place to all gather and enough space that everyone could relax in peace and quiet. Booking and paying for the cabin was simple and easy. Upon checking in we received an outline of the home and how to use the features. Multiple times it was mentioned that there was 1 wood burning fire place in the living room and 1 gas fireplace in the bed room. The instructions for the home stated we would need to purchase fire wood for the living room fireplace. Upon arrival we had purchased firewood and attempted to light a fire. The home immediately filled with smoke. I began messaging the property management company and was given instructions on how to work the fire place. This was extremely frustrating because multiple people were messaging me about the same issue. Four days after the initial mess age regarding the fire place not working a repair man was sent to look at it. He informs us that the fire place is gas. I had asked the property management company if this fire place was gas multiple times in the messages and was assured it was not. Only after sending them pictures and a video did they agree to send a repair man. The repair man said the people that had been messaging me about the fireplace were a third party company in another country and had never been to the home and have no idea about the specifics of the home they were only reading an online listing.

The property was perfect for a big group like ours, with plenty of beds in the downstairs area, 2 living areas, and a massive kitchen. Would not hesitate to stay here again for future trips.

Perfect family vacation place

Great, relaxing family atmosphere. Lots of open space in the house, beautiful surroundings, and we even saw moose walk through the yard the morning we checked out!!! Close to Frisco’s conveniences, yet such a quiet, tranquil environment with the beautiful rushing river behind the property. We loved just spending family time (kids and grandkids) at the house, grilling, playing games, making s’mores, and sitting on the deck in the sun. We’ve stayed here 3 times, and we hope many more to come.

My favorite part of this house was that it felt like we were in a remote location but we were actually 10 minutes away from all the skiing action! The house was on a beautiful property that was very peaceful. The house itself was amazing, when split between the group it was fairly cheap for what we got. Process was seamless when booking the house as well. I would hands down stay here next time I am skiing at Breck.

Wonderful Property & Great Property Managers

The stay here was wonderful did a small elopement and had close friends stay and be part of that. The property was perfect for it and the accommodations were more than plentiful! There were not a lot of cleaning supplies and kitchen supplies so had to make a few tripa to the store. Place was clean but could use a few more towels and extra sheets. We loved it here, it made for a great ceremony with beautiful photos and the place was awesome!

Mountain paradise!!!

This house is absolutely amazing. Rustic charm everywhere you turn. The property is situated on the river with a beautiful picturesque view from the main living area and deck. We had 10 people and there was plenty of room to stretch out. The pictures do not do this place Justice. The only downfall to this home is that it is difficult to get an Uber/Lyft. We would easily overlook that and re-book. The property management group over-communicates and will go out of there way to make your stay perfect. We will be back!

The location is excellent- convenient to all 3 nearby towns, yet felt secluded- the river behind it is spectacular! In the cabin our family of 16 had plenty of space for comfort and enjoying family time! The cabin could use some updating and we did have one of our family members fall through one of the bunk beds, which we found out was broken! Thankfully he was not hurt, but I strongly recommend it gets fixed. We did communicate that to the maintenance man who came by several times. Also, we were told there was a crockpot available, but we never found it. There were no wine glasses, and no lighter - minor things, but these could go a long way in making a great experience even better!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Interior was in great condition, clean. The exterior around the lodge, not so much. The grass area all around the lodge is tall and not regularly maintained. The path to the creek requires you to walk over 2' wide wood panels that are over an elevated empty grassy ditch. Boards are not secure, nails stick out, and boards stick up, creating a trip hazard. The bag boards were destroyed, laying off the side near the fire pit. The hot tub electrical breaker continued to trip, causing the water to be cold. The exterior deck off the master bedroom has multiple metal pole slats that are not secure/heavy and can easily be removed creating a hazard on the main balcony below as well as a hazard on the balcony as a person/child could easily fall through the gap. The main balcony has multiple metal pole slats missing but have been replaced with plywood, which is safe but not aesthetically pleasing.Cable box in basement was broke

Rivertree Lodge

This property is amazing! It has the modern amenities but feels like a rustic cabin! The location is secluded but close to the awesome Frisco/Breckenridge area. The Blue river is beautiful! We enjoyed sitting around the campfire and listening to the peaceful stream every night. We will definitely stay here again if it’s still listed.
