Wonderful stay. The room overlooking the marina offered a peaceful retreat. Quiet and large, with a balcony for a bit of sea air. The staff was incredibly helpful and ready to assist with any questions and queries.

We received a complimentary room upgrade and were absolutely delighted. The room was very spacious, modern and thoughtfully designed, with a kitchenette and refrigerator, a lovely balcony and a generously sized bathroom. The views were particularly impressive – overlooking the harbour on one side and the Port de Plaisance marina on the other. Simply beautiful. We also really enjoyed the breakfast: a wide selection, with everything being replenished right up until the end of breakfast service. A particular highlight is the breakfast room on the top floor. With nothing obstructing the view, you have a fantastic panorama of the sea and harbour. You can also dine there in the evening. We did not use the spa ourselves, but it also looked very inviting. The location of the hotel is excellent. There are numerous restaurants, bars and cafés in the immediate vicinity, most of them just a few minutes’ walk away. Free parking is also available nearby. At weekends, however, this has become a very popular nightlife area, so it can be lively and sometimes noisy outside until after midnight. With the windows closed, though, you hardly hear anything, and the rooms are air-conditioned. We actually preferred sleeping with the windows open and enjoying the fresh sea air. For us, it was a wonderful stay in every respect. The hotel fully deserves its four stars and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended and full marks from us!

The hotel is in a great location with parking. However I do not feel the hotel deserves a high rating. Our patio door would not lock and it took several days and requests to get it fixed. Initially I was given, by way of recompense, a key to the safe in the room, it appears this facility is not included in the room rate (the key is required to work the safe) The USB port by the bed would not work. There are no bedside tables but instead there are 2 stools beside the bed, who wants to sit there rather than having somewhere to put a book, glass of water etc? The toilet is separate to the shower, and whilst it might be personal preference, I would want a hand basin to wash my hands instead you have to then go into the shower room, I do not see the point. The shower looks good with 3 separate positions, overhead, straight at you from the wall, and a hand held shower head, the later did not work. The parking appears secure but you can walk into to the parking area with no key, and a key is not required to leave ...

Our room was on the top floor… huge room with views over the harbor with walk out deck on 2 sides. We were able to watch a film under production on the old building next door. Nice dinner in the roof top restaurant… parked for free out front of the hotel…. Lots of restaurants along the docks.

We had a corner room (201) on the second floor overlooking the yacht basin. Great views and spacious. The smell of chlorine permeated the building and put us off using the pool and spa. The restaurant on the top floor was excellent with a fairly good choice from the menu.
