Our family loved staying at Grey Haven.

Our family loved staying at Grey Haven. It was a beautiful home in a beautiful and lush mountain environment. We loved that all of amenities were close to the house. Even driving into Brevard was a breeze. We can’t wait to return. We are seriously interested in moving into this community in the next few years. If not we will be annual visitors. Everyone on the team was very helpful. We didn’t need mush assistance because the team designed and delivered a frictionless travel experience.

Autumn visit

Grey Haven Cabin perfectly suited our (2 persons) needs. Beautiful week in the autumn. Centrally located for nearby towns, and for walking and hiking in Pisgah Forest (Ranger station open in spite of government shutdown) and DuPont State Forest.

The pictures make the house look a bit nicer than it really is.... the downstairs/basement bedroom & bath is a stretch to call bedrm & bath. But the development, hiking trails, and golf (as well as proximity to Brevard) were great!

The deck is surrounded by the sound of the rustling of leaves and little critters crawling all over the place. It is so enchanting and magical. We so enjoyed the place and thank the owners for sharing their special home with us! We really didn't work with anyone.

The stay and property were wonderful other than the smell. We never went downstairs other than to do laundry so not really sure about that space. The upstairs had all the space we needed for two adults and one child. Booked online. Only contact was picking up and dropping off the keys other than the call to the office for a plumber.

We enjoyed our stay at Grey Haven. It was very peasceful. The cabin was well layed out and we noticed things like the towels were quality towels not thin cheap towels, the decor was very well done. We appreciated not having to log into our Netflix account because one was already provided. Although we never used it, it was nice to have a grill and charcoal, fishing gear, and canoe available for us if needed. It is oblivious that time and effort was put into making the cabin the best home away from home as possible. My suggestions above were made in the spirit of making an already great thing even better. All of my communication with your team was pleasurable and timely.

Nice Vacation

My family has been coming to Connestee ever since development of the community first began (45+ years). My parents sold their house here a few years ago so we were excited to get back after a few years away. We enjoyed our time here, but the house left a bit to be desired. There is very little in the kitchen so we had to purchase things like storage containers and a new can opener - old one was rusted and bent. There weren’t enough pots to cook a full meal for family. The downstairs bedroom was very damp and smelled moldy and the toilet and shower are basically in the bedroom as opposed to being in a separated bathroom. We found dead mice in traps that we had to remove ourselves. Also all the trash from the people who stayed there before us was left in the cans in the garage. We did appreciate that we were able to bring our two dogs with us!

Sister weekend

My sisters and I rented the cabin for a sister weekend. We had a wonderful time! After hiking all day, it was great to come back to a cabin which was comfortable and had the amenities we needed to relax. The one suggestion for the community - if checking in after hours, the East gate should have information posted to direct you to the main gate.
