「Very compact room but well laid out. Quiet. The only complaint is that it is quite remote and because we had not eaten we wanted to eat at the restaurant the evening of arrival. The lady said we had not booked and it was full so not possible which I consider awful service, especially on a Sunday when any shops would be closed. We fortunately had some nuts and apples that evening but it has put me off the place for any future trips.」

「This was a beautiful building in a beautiful location. Stunningly clean and well maintained. The only let-down was that whilst we were aware check-in was 16.30, we didn’t expect the gates to be locked when we arrived at 16.00. Quite why we couldn’t park in the car park and wait outside is beyond me. Instead we were expected to sit in the street outside. Once we were let in, our room wasn’t ready until 16.50. Otherwise, lovely and slept really well.」
