Our recent stay at Almond Place Apartments was for 6 nights in February 2026. My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! Anderson was an amazing host! He offered extra services at a very reasonable rate to pick up from the airport and drop us off at the cruise port. He even drove to a local grocery store so we could grab some food for our stay. He also offers private tours around the island for those places one wishes to go see. The room was very clean and had all the amenities listed as per the description of the property Listing plus a special extra couple of snacks! The bed is soft but big enough for the two of us. We loved our evenings on the patio as the area is so peaceful and quiet! We were able to easily get around from the property by using the ZR’s that are just a short 5 min walk away. We highly recommend Anderson and his property! We would not hesitate to return!

De kamer was brandschoon en de kitchenette was voorzien van zout, peper, koffie, thee, suiker, afwaszeep, etc. Als welkomstdrank waren er naast het water, ook zelfs 3 verschillende soorten rum. Er was zelfs een airfrier wat fantastisch is. De gastheer was byzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam en we kregen een persoonlijke ontvangst met uitleg over alles. We hebben samen met hem en zijn vrouw een heerlijk avondje in de grote tuin doorgebracht, waardoor we veel zijn te weten gekomen van het plaatselijk reilen en zeilen en over de eetcultuur. Dit adres is zeker een aanrader, al was het al om de prijs.

Anderson Edwards is a delight. We enjoyed having him pick us up at the airport and having a mini tour on the way to the apartment. The apartment is impeccable. The bed is extremely comfortable. Look no further for a fabulous place to stay in Barbados.

We needed a place for one night before departing for a cruise the next day. This place was perfect. Spotless and very comfortable. But the best part was our host, Anderson. He arranged for transport from the airport and, for a fair and modest fee, he drove us to a favorite local place for dinner on the sea with delicious food and festive live music. He also drove us to the port the next morning. He was genuinely interested in getting to know us and made our already pleasant experience even better. Highly recommend if you are in need of similar lodging.

Great Host

Anderson picked me up from the airport, and showed me around as we went to the apartment. It’s a cosy clean apartment and well equipped, everything worked. I found it easy to travel, the ZR transport vans pick you up from the end of the road. By the end of my stay they all knew me. Everyone was helpful and l felt safe everywhere l went. Anderson had explained the different types of transport and cost which was great. Great place to stay as a solo traveller.

Well off the beaten track but superb because of it. The area is a quiet location with family homes. The most noise comes from the Whistling Frogs. Anderson is a great guy, very hospitable and dedicated to sharing the best that Barbados has to offer. I was quite independent but we still had time for a good old fashioned chinwag one evening. Unsure of anything, just ask Anderson, he can show you the island. I would thoroughly recommend the Almond Palm Apartments and host Anderson

Highly recommended. The property is clean and comfortable, with a little garden to take your morning tea in lovely quiet surroundings. Excellent experience!

We had an excellent experience. We definitely would be recommending and booking again! Anderson was a great host who was most hospitable and accommodating. The transportation service he offered was dependable and the short tours given was a plus. The accommodation was quite comfortable, quiet, clean and all needed amenities were readily available. A trip well spent.

One night in Barbados

Perfect place for a day or two. Cozy and clean with kitchen and stocked well by owner for breakfast. Yard has quiet area with many flowers and was pleasant to relax in. Owner went above the standard in service and friendliness. Even arraigned pick up at the airport. Would stay again, also a great value.
