The pub was in an ideal location and although on a busy road, we were not bothered by any traffic noise. The staff seemed rushed off their feet and we waited a while for our food with no offer of being able to order another drink whilst we were waiting. However, this has not put us off returning as the food and accommodation was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The bedroom and bathroom were lovely & spacious with loads of storage. The food was excellent, service was a bit slow at dinner but well worth the wait, best proper chips we've ever had in a hotel. Limited parking but we used free car park opposite at the Village hall. Large garden at rear with plenty of seating and parasol, slabs were a bit uneven in places.
