We made a last minute booking to The Old Stable after searching online for nice properties in the area. The property is in a lovely rural setting, it’s very quiet, relaxing and a retreat away from the busy-ness of day to day life. The property itself was lovely and comfortable. The huge bed in the main bedroom gave us good nights sleep which is welcomed as my husband has back and hip problems and doesn’t always find beds in holiday accommodation very comfortable. The bedding was lovely and the rooms presented really well.The only small negative was that for me the cleanliness of small parts of the kitchen and the dining room floor weren’t as good as the rest of the property. However we had a lovely stay and would return.
