The host was very responsive and relied I a timely manner! The house had so much space and was brilliant for 5 families and all the kids!Easy to use kitchen and awesome entertaining areas! Also such a great spot in Bright, very close to the Main Street and everything it has to offer

This was a really spacious house with 18 of us staying here. There is a lot of extra space in all of the bedrooms, and the two living areas are really big. Every room has heating that worked a treat, and we had the woodfire going as well (there is no guarantee that wood will be supplied, but if it is, you can use it).The bathrooms are modern and spacious too. There is plenty of room for parking multiple cars off road. The main streets of Bright are only a few minutes walk. I can't recommend this holiday rental highly enough. We loved it!

Great fun and prime location to Bright

It was great fun the kids really loved the bunk beds and the location was great walking distance to cafes, shops and playground for the kids.

Good location, massive property, needs maintenance

On the positive side, the property's size was impressive, allowing the kids to have a great time. The location was convenient and added to the overall appeal. However, there were a couple of maintenance issues that impacted our stay. Firstly, we encountered some unwelcome guests in the kitchen - ants were crawling over our food after the first night. This was quite a disappointment and made us uneasy about using the kitchen for the remainder of our stay. Additionally, the common bathroom had an unpleasant sewer smell that found its way into the house and even into one of the bedrooms. This was not only uncomfortable but also posed a hygiene concern. Furthermore, we noticed that the laminate flooring in the bedrooms at the back of the property was coming off. In spite of these issues, our overall experience was okay. The property has potential, but it's clear that it requires better maintenance and attention to detail. With some upkeep, it could be an excellent place to stay in the future. In conclusion, while the property's location and size were definite highlights, the maintenance issues we encountered were disappointing. Addressing these concerns would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Large group holiday

Excellent location, house was great for a group getaway

Excellent location with a less than 5 min walk into town, house was tidy and spacious with a fireplace and plenty of bathrooms. Separate bungalow with 2 bedrooms was cosy too. Plates need an update otherwise had everything else.

Disappointing

This House is in a good position, great size for large group , inside was reasonably clean with good bathrooms. Now the bad news, when we entered on arrival the kitchen smelt so bad like dead rats seemingly coming from behind the old oven that needs upgrading if you intend to cook food in it. I looked past the cockroaches in the kitchen. However, it was the Outside entertaining area of the house the biggest disappointment. It really needs a good deep clean. The Stayz property description which was an important part of how I chose this property, listed an outdoor area that has a shower , toilet and laundry room but unfortunately was not useable . It appeared to not have been cleaned for a very long time and was very unhealthy with what was left behind. The BBQ area could be amazing but again the state of the BBQ was so unclean that we could not use it. We are a group of country people who are not particularly fussy but even the blokes couldn’t stomach using the extra shower toilet room. It is a big stretch to describe the Outdoor Entertainment Area” as fantastic”. I obliviously have supporting photos . Stayz or the property manger need to address and adjust your property description and photos that accurately represent the property because currently it is not a true representation when I was there on the 29/4/2022 We did not let this spoil our reunion we simply spent a lot less time at the property . This house needs at lot of deep cleaning and maintenance before I would recommend it. Even cleaning the windows and brushing off all the cobwebs would make a huge difference. I would like to post my photos but this platform does not allow it. I invite Stayz to view them at any time.. FYI we paid over $1000 per night for 3 nights.

Great Location, great for multiple families

Great Location. Sleeps 20 with comfortable beds and bathrooms but lacked a few items necessary in a house that sleeps that many. Oven and stove top very old, took forever to cook food, no champagne glasses and only 4 wine glasses for the large house, and some of the utensils & frypans need replacing. The house had 2 fridges which came in handy.

Surprisingly spacious

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house accommodated our families of 9 adults and 7 children with ease. We loved how close to the Main Street the place is positioned, it was lovely to be able to go for a stroll up the street for coffee, meals or groceries. From the street this house looks small but we were pleasantly surprised how spacious the house was and the fact the house isn’t short of a bathroom which was handy with the amount of people staying. The large dining table in the kitchen was great each night for us to play board games into the early hours of the morning. We had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to family or friends :)
