Riverfront Retreat 7 Miles From Ft Leonard Wood

"This house is CUTE! There are four outside seating areas with two that overlook the river. The two upstairs bedrooms are comfortable and overlook the back of the house and river. Downstairs is more of the game room area plus more places for sleeping. It is peaceful and a great place to get away. We stayed here because it is close to Fort Leonard Wood - about 15 min drive and well within the perimeter the soldiers are limited to for Family Day. We hosted a lunch for our daughter's graduation from basic training. There is a grill, outside propane fire pit, a walk down to the river and plenty of seating. The kitchen is fully stocked and made hosting the lunch a breeze. It was perfect!Our host was very responsive by text and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. She helped us with check-in and check-out. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay that can accommodate your group, definitely look into this place. It's great."

"Great place! Cozy cabin with beautiful view of the river valley. Host was very responsive and helpful with ideas to help us enjoy the grounds, river, and nearby trails/scenery. We brought some food with us, which was nice to not have to run to the grocery store first thing since it is not too far but a drive into town. Would like to return with the family again soon!"
Secluded Turkey Ridge Cottage Above The River

"Zero issues with this property all the amenities were provided as far as bedding/linens, towels/ washcloths pretty much fully stocked kitchen as far as pots, pans, skillets, dining ware, glass ware, pretty much any kind of utensil you might need in the kitchen they have you covered. Just came home from our first ever sisters trip and it was amazing, very secluded, quiet, even though the owners live on the property they are still a bit away from where we stayed. We had the best time we have had together ever. Bring your toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, body spray, preferred bath soap/body wash, shampoo/conditioner. They have you covered, obviously bring your own food/beverages that you intend to consume. Full size refrigerator with upper freezer compartment, ice cube trays filled and frozen. If you want more ice to put in the freezer I suggest a small bag. Sit on the back deck and enjoy the peaceful quiet time with a beautiful view."
