This was the nicest place I have ever stayed. You could kayak or paddle board down to the Dosewallips State Park and watch: Seals, Elk, Eagles, Turkey Vultures... the property has some resident Otters that come running by in the morning and the beach is covered with oysters... Just magical.

It was exactly as the pictures showed. The house was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location on the water. The house was perfect for the 2 of us and our stay. It was very relaxing and beautiful!

Comfortable house with beautiful view
Wonderful place for wildlife - otters, eagles, seal, water birds, deer. The beach is rocky, but its great to sit on the beach deck and watch the water and the boats. Comfortable clean house had everything we needed, with lots of space to spread out. Great communication with host. Parking is a little tight, but ok when we got used to it.

Beautiful setting
Not for those with balance or knee issues because of uneven steps in and unnerving steep and unfinished parking situation. We couldn’t have driven in without an all wheel drive vehicle.
The place was lovely, clean and well stocked.

Wonderful View of Hood Canal
We had a great stay at this property. The view is AMAZING! The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner was very kind and showed us how to find oysters on the private beach below.

could be a great property
good bones to the property but poor maintenance. Terrible mattress in master-wife slept in 2nd bedroom where beds were good. Kitchen window shade/miniblind broken. tv remote volume control broken. minimal pots/pans, no can opener! grounds are overgrown weeds and yet with a bit of tlc this property could be great because of location/views. the furnishing are a mishmash of garage sale items. very poor decorating and all treatments cheap. spend some money and you'll get great reviews. As a former maui rental condo owner i can say this property would not make it in my rental pool.

Spectacular views but lacks maintenance
Property manager has poor communication skills. I texted her asking for early check in but didn’t get a reply back until the next day after we checked in. Apple map has poor direction, got lost trying to find the place. Outside of property has outgrown brushes that not maintained. If you have little kids, I wouldn’t leave them alone as they might me snakes in the bushes. The water heater makes loud screeching noise. The TV is placed in the wrong way. Had to watch sideways. There are still personal stuff cluttered in the closet. This place could be way better if some improvements are done. It looks the renovation is ongoing. Don’t take this as criticism but as a positive criticism. This place has great potential as it has a spectacular views. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay.
