We liked the location within walking distance - i.e. 3km or less - of the CBC, grocery stores, South Bank, Story Bridge, etc as well as right next door to the Brisbane river. What was exceptional for us was the ability to check in Saturday morning. The front desk is also open Sunday mornings.

Room smelt funny, was being masked with a fragrance machine. After some investigating it was the washing machine, mold in the seals. Smell hung around whole trip. Very quick walk to the river this was amazing. Beautiful gardens to the pool. Saw some lizards that made our daughters day seeing them. Pool area very tidy and kids had fun playing there

Great location with easy access to the city via the new foot bridge or city cat. Lovely outlook from the apartment. Older style with large rooms, however some maintenance was required (leaking taps) due to the age. Note parking is extra if not booked direct, which was a surprise on arrival as their website says free parking and was told we should have booked direct!

Not for families with prams

Our apartment at Bridgewater terraces was comfortable and had a nice view of the river. However, there is no lift in the terraces which was very inconvenient for us with a lot of luggage and a stroller. There are a lot of stairs around the complex and I would not recommend staying there if you have a lot of baggage or a pram or any accessibility requirements.

Location and front garden patio with water access was stunning. Apartment size was great. Pool and spa area tip top. Undercover parking was easy. Called in advance for late checkin. However, upon arrival getting a key was a mission. Room is a little bit older, so smelt a bit funny. Just some small things such as, no AC in bedrooms, no toaster, TV remotes missing back to them.

Great location, pool and gardens. Our apartment faced the river, was clean and comfortable. Plenty of food and drink options close by. Dated property with only fans in bedrooms - aircon in main room didn’t flow through. Noisy aircon units outside bedrooms. WIFI was good - you do need to bring your own device to attempt to cast to the tv. Warning they’re Smartcast which is not Apple friendly. Accessibility: most of property is not suitable for those with accessibility needs. Summary: Don’t expect a 5-star experience - it’s a 4 star - and you’ll be fine.
