A great property to watch the sunrise and the soft colours of the back of the sunset, very peacefull and family freindly. The local community at Beachmere are very friendly, my husband got in a few games of bowls while were there and the dog park is close by.

It was definitely a "dog lovers retreat." Location was perfect and the property was in exceptional condition. Will definitely be staying there again.

It’s quiet,comfortable, easy and walking distance to the pub (priorities!!), supermarket & excellent cafe for breakfast! Feels like home!

Perfect house for our family

Everything was exactly as it was described and it couldn’t have worked better for our family Christmas trip. There was room for our two small boats behind the fence and ample on street parking. Property manager recommended someone for linens, this was extremely convenient.

Dog Lovers Retreat

We had a very relaxing 3 day stay in a comfortable house near the water. Lovely view from the deck and a small fenced yard for the dogs to run around. Would like to have been able to park undercover but unfortunately the garage was not available for us to use. First National Real Estate Bribie Island were so helpful and friendly.

Lovely large home

We loved the sheer size of the home since the house we live in has large living areas. Beachmere itself is probably quieter than we expected but there are many places only a short drive away.

Lovely relaxing stay

Even though I was in the area for work, it lovely and quiet and it was great to be able to walk my dog (he came with me to work) every morning and night in such lovely surroundings. Short walk to cafe and pub. Just perfect. Thankyou

Awesome vacation house

Beautiful house in a great position at Beachmere. Being allowed to have our rescue dashhound inside was such a bonus. Great communication with the real estate company. Everything was just great from the minute we checked in. Hope we can come back again soon.

Dogs holiday

Close to water for walking the dog. Good verandah to sit on and could see the ocean when tide was in. Advertised that it had a clothes dryer but didn’t so couldn’t dry towels. Oven not clean.

Great house in great location

The House is in a great location, close to everything you need. House was large, clean and has beautiful views of the oceam, only a few steps away. Communication and check in with the agent was an easy process. Would definitely bring my fur kid back and stay again

Great location for a quiet getaway

Had a great time staying here with my partner and the hounds. The property is located close to the big off-leash dog park, and the beach is just across the road. At low tide, there is so much room for dogs to run around and play. We had no issues checking in, and the communication about this was clear and easy to follow. The house itself is spacious. The Silver Spoon cafe up the road had the best options for breakfast and the best coffee in Beachmere. Would happily come back here again.

Weekend Break

I would like to start by saying that Kimberley from Bribie Island Real Estate was a pleasure to converse with and helped us immensely with our check in details. The property is in a good location with a lovely view of the water and across to Redcliffe. Our three day stay was pleasant and relaxing with a short drive to Woorim beach on Bribie Island included. We were only disappointed that the garage, which is advertised as available for use, and the rear gate to the property, were locked and not accessible as we found out upon calling the real estate and speaking with another lady. Overall though a nice enough place to stay and enjoy a getaway from it all with your fur babies.

A beautiful little cottage with a view for a great getaway

The house was very comfortable, with heaps of equipment in the kitchen. We would definitely return for another visit. There were only a couple of things we weren't really happy about. Firstly, all our information stated that we needed to pick up the key from First national on Bribie Island, before heading to Beachmere, about 20 minutes drive away. When I arrived I was told the keys were in a key safe at the property. I must say that we did appreciate the extra 40+ minute driving before arriving at our destination. Please improve on THIS communication. Being the start of winter, it was quite cool at night and unfortunately there was a lack of blankets. The large beds had one light blanket each. In the twin room there was a small rug on each bed - about 1.5m square - not large enough to be taken for a blanket. Other than these, we had a delightfully restful time, being able to watch the Passage from or front deck and from the front room.

Property and location excellent

I have done a lot of travelling in Europe and stayed in lots of different accommodation and met lots of landlords/agents and collected keys from key locks before. These agents were rude, getting the number for the lock was an episode in itself even though they already had our money. We were also asked to vacate the property early because of some stupid reasoning to do with the pandemic but was really about getting the next people in in time for Easter and the extra money. We have received no real apology for the inconvenience this caused us or for the fact that we nicely complied. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had in all my travels where I have found most people fall over themselves to be kind and helpful.

Lovely seaside stay.

A very enjoyable seaside stay. Right opposite a beach walk and near a superb fish & chip shop in town (next to the round about). We loved the open space kitchen/living/dining room. Just a couple of minor improvements like a new front door handle and perhaps tinting on the rear sliding door. Overall a great stay - recommended.

Temporary rental whilst looking for permanent

We rented the property whilst we looked for local permanent accommodation in our local area & we didn't want to leave but someone else had it booked! It was lovely in every way. The owners have made the property very comfortable & welcoming. The location is quiet & friendly & the view of the ocean day or night is fantastic. I wish we could rent it permanently! 10/10
