Seriously, these guys are hilarious. From cancelling a room due to over-booking, arriving 40mins late for their own check-in time and then mishandling guest after guest after guest, I just kept looking over my shoulder thinking I was being filmed for a comedy show.
a) they cancelled a room on us, but were kind enough to ring and let us know.
b) check-in was 2.00pm but no-one arrived until 2.40pm and we were literally left sitting on the front steps of the building until they arrived
c) there were broken chairs, lounge and blinds in the room. The bathtub tap didn't work. There was no floor mat or face-cloth in the bathroom.
d) the pool was "closed" for repairs but the whole time we were there (four days) there was not a single tradesperson doing anything.
e) when you call the hotel enquiry number you get some real estate agent who has no idea what's going on
If this place is under new ownership they need to spend some serious money to get everything updated and in proper working order. On a plus-side, it's the first apartment complex I've stayed in for AGES where the buzzer works at the front gate and you can buzz people in to your room.
Also, for BIGSOUND, which is what we were staying for, it's hard to beat for location. Just have a sense of humour and you'll be fine.
