“Clean pleasant room that looked recently refurbished, with a kettle and microwave and a enough tea and coffee to survive a night and morning. A fridge and hairdryer was useful. Shower was good, stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Bathroom was clean. Otherwise it was basic but sufficient. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had one set of neighbours who played very loud music all afternoon until late, but thankfully eventually stopped. At this (cold and wet) time of year the pub……

“There was no water from the kitchen tap, so we had to use the bathroom to get drinks. The flooring used to line the shower was peeling off, cabinets broken etc. that being said, the kitchen was nice, and the place was clean and tidy. It's fine if you just need somewhere to sleep”

“Location is great, but the room itself is dated. Could do with a lick of paint, some repairs to the furniture and a much better heating system. Kettle wasn't working when we stayed but I'm sure this was resolved for the next guests.”
