"50 euro deposit required on check in. Not what you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Cobwebs on ceiling of room . No tea/coffee facilities in room. Staff were very welcoming and professional. Food in bar was good but limited menu. "

"What a wonderful holiday. David and his family were very welcoming and helpful with excellent information about the local area and further afield. The cottage was everything we hoped for and more - an open fire, complete kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a historic building sympathetically renovated. And with two lively dogs who instantly befriended us. There was a very pleasant short walk on the farm, and many more challenging walks a short drive away. The Adare village had everything we needed for self catering and pubs / restaurants. Very highly recommended."

"Kay is a wonderful host. She was very responsive before, during and after our trip. The house was lovely, very clean and large enough for large family gatherings. She even put up a Christmas tree for us. We came for Christmas and had a wonderful time even though our family members had to cancel due to illness. The area is beautiful and Kay is very knowledgeable of the area and the best places to visit and eat! I would definitely recommend this lovely home and host for your family vacation. We will definitely be back to visit Kay."
