Stunning second floor apartment in converted edwardian house on the seafront. Plenty of parking available on the private road.
Fabulous location with wonderful coastal walks in either direction. Ten minutes walk to Joss Bay to the left, or 30 minutes walk to Broadstairs town to the right. There is also access to the beach below via steps only accessible with a key provided to estate residents.
The apartment itself has a beautiful fitted kitchen with breakfast bar looking out to sea, spacious and comfy lounge/diner, again with sea views. The master bedroom has a Jack and Jill ensuite bathroom with bath and walk in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and arguably the best view of all. There's also a balcony off the hallway if you want to take in some fresh sea air.
Broadstairs is a beautiful unspoilt gem with its golden sandy beach and harbour arm. Broadstairs has it's own micro climate and often avoids the worst of the weather. Even in winter you can often find a sheltered spot to sit outside and enjoy a coffee.
Margate and Ramsgate are both worth a visit as they both have their own vibe and something different to offer. Historic Canterbury is less than 25 minutes by train, or 40 minutes by car.

There's so many things to do in the area, so many wonderful bays with beautiful white cliffs and lovely beaches. Beautiful haven with great views

We had a lovely stay at this property. The hosts are most welcoming and accommodating, the accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot and our kids were so happy to find a few colouring books & games to keep them entertained. It's on a quiet road, overlooking the ocean, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Boradstairs & Margate. There is a beautiful beach (Joss Bay) close by and a 30-minute walk will take you to Broadstairs town centre.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Barry was very kind and helpful, and the fridge was already stocked with the basics which made arrival really easy. Everything was clean, a great view, well equipped. (A nice hot powerful shower too)

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place. The owners, Barry and Gaynor, are lovely people, helpful and accommodating. The apartment is warm and cosy, and spotlessly clean. Décor and furnishings are high quality with attention to detail. Stunning sea views from balcony, windows, and skylights. Thoughtful touches included a Christmas tree for our stay during the Christmas period and some provisions waiting in the fridge. Great for coastal walks and restaurants in Broadstairs. We definitely recommend this little gem.

A lovely stay

We have just returned from a lovely 3 day, last minute break at Wayfarers Rest. The apartment was spotless and we wanted for nothing, it was like being at home …… actually, it’s probably nicer! Gaynor and Barry were wonderful hosts, so accommodating, welcoming and they had thought of everything. The welcome pack on our arrival was lovely. Perfect stay

Really friendly welcome and tour of the property. Lots of nice bits in the fridge so we had the basics. The views over the cliff and sea were remarkable and we saw some lovely sun rises. The flat was immaculate and well finished to a high standard. Our sons loved the pinball table downstairs and were on it all the time. Highly recommended.

Fabulous stay

I can’t fault this accommodation. It has everything you could wish for. A lovely welcome awaited us. Also provisions in the fridge and a loaf of bread and biscuits which was very thoughtful. The apartment is spotless. Comfy sofas and very well equipped. A real home from home. The sea views and walks from the property were an added bonus.

Best family holiday in Broadstairs

The photos of this lovely holiday Home don’t do it justice – it is incredibly well appointed, super clean, and in a unique location where you have access to a really quiet beautiful beach. This is actually our second time going here – we’ve never been back to a place before as we normally like to try new places every year, but this place is too good to miss! Barry and Gaynor are wonderful hosts, they make sure you have everything you need but also give you total privacy. Location is also fantastic as although you can walk into Broadstairs you have all the coastal walks accessible to you, and you are super close to the other beaches of Broadstairs. I can’t rate it highly enough!

Herrliche Aussicht

Aus jedem Fenster sieht man das Meer, kann auch bei Ebbe direkt vom privaten Strand nach Broadstairs laufen. Ruhige Lage (kein Bäcker oder Restaurant im Viertel), nächstes Café ist in der Nachbarbucht Stone Bay. Alle Buchten in beide Richtungen gut zu Fuß zu erlaufen. Sehr erholsam. Ein Flipper im Flur beschäftigt die Kinder, ein Hotpot die Erwachsenen. Herrlich.
