「Thank you! This place is beautiful, peaceful and, joyful. We loved our stay. Kayaking on the shallow river, grilling hamburgers and using the hot tub! It was nice to wake up and see a beautiful peaceful barn with horse and the river. It had a very easy location to go where we wanted to go. We had an amazing trip! Cynthia」

「Sweet accommodations. Can tell owners put their love into it. Part of a historical episode that can be discerned through information once there but would be good to advertise for the place. Love the giant Monterey Cypress of which the cottage is nestled into. Little stream off the back porch which is a wonderful attribute. The interior is great with unique wall paintings of trees and flowers. And, the breakfast brought to the door, is a definite plus! Recommended.」

「Beautiful surroundings in the woods, frequented by deer. Private and quite. Hosts were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here. The one downside was the foam mattress was not comfortable for my husband and it had a plastic cover on it that became damp and sticky during the night. A nice mattress topper would help that.」

「The property itself is gorgeous. Inside the cottage however, there were some house keeping issues when we arrived: old coffee spill stains on the stove top, crumbs from old food were left in the microwave and toaster oven, all of the drawers where eating utensils were kept also had diet and old crumbs of food, one burner did not work on the stove top, all outside chairs and barbecue had dirt and cobwebs all over them. Other than that, it was an incredibly enjoyable, comfortable, homey cottage...

「Cozy little cottage that was just a minute walk from the beach, and a 10 minute walk from the lighthouse. The owner left a bowl of fresh produce for us from the local farmers market which we used in our dinner each night. The cupboards and fridge were stocked with the necesssities which we were happy to have when cooking dinner. 「Absolutely stunning and gorgeous views of the ocean and beach. Hot tub over looks ocean and at night you can enjoy while listening to the crashing of the ocean waves and a glass of wine. Beautiful.」

「This house is a nice size, with up to date appliances, and a comfortable layout! Only complaint is that the main bedroom does get loud with passing cars on the busy highway in the morning, but I had already read that in previous reviews. Not a problem if you’re an earlyish riser (7am). The WiFi was also fairly slow, but it worked! Great place- would definitely stay again!」

「This house was perfect! I was nervous at first since this was our first time renting a house for a few days but I’m so happy I did. Everything went so smooth. When we arrived, everything was clean. The house was even more beautiful in person. I love the huge yard and how secluded you feel from anyone else. You can also see the ocean from upstairs which is really cool. Highly recommend this house, you will not regret it. We will definitely be staying here next time we come to the area! 」

「Took my dog and 7 year old son on a road trip, stayed here for two nights to break up the drive - pictures don’t do it justice. There was MORE than enough room inside but can I just gush over the backyard for a hot minute?! It was perfect!! The sun hit just right, the patio and gardens were beautiful, and the fire pit was a great way to cap the evening. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to all those looking in the area!」
