Room was clean. Bathtub bottom was rough and stained. Noisy neighbors and walls were thin. Maybe tell all guests to be considerate of noise. There were a LOT of workmen staying here with sidewalk and parking lot gatherings and cookouts. However, i never felt unsafe. Breakfast was good but it was the same for the 3 mornings i was there. Eggs were too cold to eat one morning. I asked for regular coffee pack for one day and was told they were out. How can this happen? No worries.I got a cup of coffee from the lobby and covered it.Put it in my microwave and heated it in the morning. Pool and hot tub was clean but older. Missing paint in a pretty large spot on my wall. Parking lot surface was pretty rough. Walmart was almost directly behind me. Staff was most courteous. Price could be a little lower especially for the time of year.

I'm sorry if your neighbors were loud, we try to catch that when possible but it's difficult to police everyone unfortunately. If anyone is every causing an issue please let the front desk know so we can get on it asap. We are working with the owner to try to get some updates done in the near future so hopefully we can address some of your issues. I will also pass your comments about breakfast on to the restaurant. Thanks for being understanding! Hopefully we can provide you a better stay on your next trip!

The front desk staff was wonderful and let us check in early. He was helpful and very kind. The first room he sent us to was not cleaned and the door was open, so we went back and he quickly resolved the issue. Our second room had stains on the lamp, some flooring was ripped out, and it looked like the floor wasn’t fully vacuumed by the exterior door. We went to the hot tub also and there was moss growing on the outside of it. Overall, though, it was a pleasant experience. Room for improvement in the cleanliness/ upkeep.

Staff is great and accommodating. Rooms are outdated, trash was everywhere outside of the hotel and some places on the inside. The pool area is very slippery cause of the tile but the big open area was great for the kiddos to run around and play basketball.

Thanks for the kind words Megan, and I apologize for the trash, with the wind blowing as hard as it was this weekend it does get difficult to stay on top of it. We were also full and unfortunately people aren't always respectful about where they leave a mess. We are an older property but we do try out best to provide clean and comfortable stays for our guests. I'm glad the rest of your stay was good! Hopefully we'll see you again soon!

For a cheaper hotel, it’s not bad at all. The walls are kind of thin so you can hear everything but that’s pretty normal for everywhere. There were a couple stains on the walls in our room but nothing alarming. Some things were kind of out dated like the toilets and some of the outer walls. Definitely was nice to have a pool and hot tub and a restaurant in one spot. Staff were also super nice and were really nice about answering all my questions.

Hotel good, breakfast disappointing
The hotel was good. The breakfast in the morning was not the best. It was only 8:00 and everything was very picked over and there was no staff around to ask or offer assistance.

We have stayed and this hotel for the past couple years but this year it has really gone down hill. Hallways smelled of Marijuana. Window was leaking water on the floor. Wall was falling away from the heater. Pool was so cold my husband said he had our kids swim in the hot tub wgich was normal pool temp.

I'm sorry it negatively affected your stay. We also aren't happy with people smoking in their rooms and charge a hefty fine for those that do. Unfortunately people still break the rules. Again our apologies, if you're ever unhappy with your room, please let us know immediately and we'll get it fixed. Asked for an accessible room when booking. Got a standard first floor room. Toilet was TOO low for my wife's limited mobility. A room with grab bars in the bathroom would have been better.

Need Improvements
The customer service was excellent! The room was clean; along with the bedding, towels and surfaces. We noticed some places on the walls needed touch up or finish painting. The tub needed to be replaced due to rust and cracks. The parking lot was confusing due to the restaurant and casino being attached. We only knew of one entrance in and out of the hotel. Our room was either chilly or hot and the fan ran constantly. Thankfully, we had a couple extra blankets we brought along, to keep us warm.

Our family with two kids had originally booked a three night stay with another hotel. Long story short it was a nightmare and we ended up at Econolodge trying to find a room for the weekend. We pulled up and an employee was out cleaning the windows and front. She came in and in the middle of my panic not only got us a room but helped us with an early check in so we could unload our car and continue our plans for the day. Erica was the absolute best and I’m so thankful for her this weekend. Employees were constantly cleaning everywhere and asking how our stay was going. Our room was clean, the food was great, the employees were so friendly, the pool was fantastic especially for kids, and all in all Erica and her staff saved our weekend that was headed for disaster! Thank you, we will be back!

Decent price and convenient. Front desk person was professional, but not exactly friendly. Non-smoking room smelled BADLY of smoke. Walls were paper thin. Room next-door came home after bar apparently and partied until 5:30 in the morning. UGHHH. Did not get much sleep. However, bed was comfortable. Staff in the restaurant/bar was fantastic. Food was good and they were super friendly and a lot of fun.

I do apologize for your experience with your neighbor. Our walls are thick concrete, but unfortunately you had an adjoining room and those can let some noise and smell through. We did charge them for smoking and being a nuisance. In the future please let the front desk know if anyone or anything is affecting your stay.
