“Not very good but not very bad”

“Front desk guy was really nice and made small talk. The room was semi clean. Hair on the sink and in the tub. When I went to draw a bath for my kid there was tons of nasty floaters and hair. I wasn’t able to bath him in the bath. I had to give him a sink bath because it was cleaner. The beds and rest of the room were clean though!”

“Lower your bar. Mostly clean, but horribly overpriced. A tiny, ancient motel, rooms opening out to the lot (which I like). Manager was super nice, walked me to my room. It's July, & it was literally about 100 degrees all weekend. The floors are laminate, which is nice & easy to keep clean. Tiny room, 2 double beds (old bed spreads) fill the entire width of the room wall to wall, with a couple feet between. Small fridge with a separate freezer which was nice. Wall air conditioner worked well,……

“$150 price was high for the quality. There was no staff on site when I arrived. Side door was open, room door was open. Security should be tighter. The room was reasonably clean. Staff was polite on the phone. Simple beakfast is provided. The TV channels were good.”

“Great location right downtown. Walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. Clean and well stocked.Apartment was very noisy. You could hear everything in neighboring units. The bed was also a queen size.”

“Beautiful vintage apartment, fully stocked and very clean and quiet. The Sleepy Eye Coffee shop next door is a fabulous bonus! They have excellent coffee and food items. Only caution is that the stairs leading up to the apartment are long and steep - could be very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Same thing for the tub/shower, as it is difficult to get in and out of if that is something you struggle with. Other than that, this is a perfect place to stay if you are in the Sleepy……

The downtown location is perfect, but what made our stay especially memorable were the incredible views. Looking out over the charming streets of New Ulm, especially in the morning and at sunset, was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. The loft had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and every detail felt……
