「Was super excited for a cozy couple days together in the middle of nowhere away from everyone, the place looked great online. It's very deceiving. The location is literally out in the bundox. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's nearly 2mi of gravel road coming to/ from Nashville, which if it's been raining, you'll need a 4WD to maneuver with the up/down and sharp corner hills. 「I booked two rooms here last night, and unfortunately both were disappointing. The hotel was dirty and smelled moldy. There was urine on the toilet, dirty linens, stains on the floors and walls, and the TV didn’t work. In one of the rooms, the toilet wouldn’t even flush. When you’re paying for two hotel rooms, basic cleanliness and working facilities shouldn’t be too much to expect. The overall condition of the rooms was unacceptable, and I would not stay here again based on this experience.」

Also on the property is a cafe, antique store, and wedding or celebration venue. The owners are incredibly personable, kind, and very knowledgeable about the area. It’s a perfect place for a group, a romantic getaway for 2, a girls weekend, a family reunion… or if you are passing through and need a restful night. We have stayed twice at The Destination and I look...
