“The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. ”

“My stay was great! The room was very clean and spacious. Check in was a breeze. Parking was good. Breakfast was good and there were various items to select from. ”

“Extender stay for personal reasons. A great locación near everything in Brunswick. Clean, quiet, confortable room and staff was excellent.”

“Fair handicapped accessibility. Bathroom door was cemented to floor and could not be closed.”

“The staff was helpful. I wasn't able to check in until after 5. The room was okay. The shower had mold in it. The check in was horrible. Didn't complain about it because it took so long to check in.”

“Room was dated and mold in tub and walls of bath. Curtains did not keep huge lights outside from shining into room. Dining table was dirty at bfast. Food was fine and plenty to choose from. As a Hilton Member this one was not a great stay and there are many more choices across both sides of hiway. Would not stay here again.”

“Clean, spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Could not hear any cars or trucks but heavy footsteps from upstairs and people talking from next door. Free simple breakfast. The air conditioner was a bit loud. Hallway smelled like smoke but room did not.”

“The receptionist was sleeping in a chair at 5 pm on arrival. She posted a sign that they were sold out and only got up when I told her we had a reservation. The rooms floor was filthy. There was no clock or telephone in the room. The TV was barely working and there was no guide. We should have left. ”

“They were going through renovations so i understand some dust etc. When we got in the room we noticed blood spots on the chair and just covered with a towel. Don't walk on floors without shoes. We went to dinner. We had been driving all day and wanted to stay by the lighthouse. We got back from dinner around 10pm, exhausted. We had 2 queen beds, my cousin and myself. I pulled back my sheets and there were blood stain spots all over my sheets and hair. So I slept with my cousin in her……
