Quiet getaway from life’s stresses

The property is located near beach access. The neighbors were quiet and we were visited by occasional wildlife. The property suited the needs of 3 adults perfectly. The owner was very responsive and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Terrapin Haven. Very comfortable, spacious home in a great location. Beds were comfortable and everything was as described - no surprises!

Lovely vacation stay

We had a lovely 5 day vacation stay at this home on Jekyll. Perfect home base, great to have room to spread out. Only complaint is beds are dated and uncomfortable. We would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay

The house was even more spacious and well-appointed than expected, and we all appreciated it. We would be happy to recommend it. The knives and pans were not the greatest, but acceptable for a five-day stay.

Perfect home for vacation!

This was a great home for our family on vacation! It’s a beautiful house with a lot of room, and very reasonably priced! It was very well stocked. The location was great. The owner responded quickly to our questions.

Our group had a wonderful stay at this wonderful home! Nancy left very detailed directions on how to enter and how to locate the house. Perfectly located on the island just a street over from the beach. Clean, comfortable and cozy! I would highly recommend for families or groups.

Great location!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for us, we were able to be on the beach for sunrise in just a few minutes’ walk. The house was clean and had everything we needed for 4 adults and 4 children under 11. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location-Close to beach-Very quiet and perfect for the family!

We really enjoyed our recent visit to this rental house. We were very comfortable sleeping our family of 4 adults and toddler. It was great weather all weekend and the location was spectacular. We would definitely book again next time we are at Jekyll. Thanks!

Our family of six had lots of space to spread out in this home! We cooked our meals daily in the kitchen that is well stocked! Beds were comfortable! We will certainly stay in this home again in the future! Very short walk to beach directly across the street!! Awesome stay!

Great hiden gem

The house was larger than anticipated. Had plenty of places to sit and talk away from the tv. Bedrooms were a decent size and beds were comfortable. Great house!

Jekyll Island Family Vacation

The house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach. The beach does disappear, but if you watch the tide times, you can enjoy a very nice private beach with no problems. The island has enough stuff to keep you busy. Love the nature on the island and the history!

Large Family Vacation to our favorite place!

We love visiting Jekyll Island and this is our second time staying at this home! It was great both times. There is plenty of space, plenty of linens, washer/dryer, access to the beach. The air conditioner went out the first night we arrived and it was handled very quickly! Check in and Check out was easy! 100% would reccomend staying here. We may come back for a 3rd time in the next few years!

Perfect family getaway

Love visiting Jekyll Island! This property was a perfect fined! It had the essentials. It was clean. Beach access was super easy! Not cluttered with nick knacks(I have 4 kids under 10). The first night we stayed we had deer In the back yard.

Family Vacation

We stayed at property for Memorial weekend and to celebrate my anniversary. Everything was as wonderful as one could imagine. The house was fully stocked and communication with the owner was perfect. Location was great for us. We will definitely come back and do it again. Many thanks!!!

Great house

The house was wonderful! Everything was clean and comfortable. The A/C works great! The only downside was the "beach access" across the street had missing stairs, so we had to walk down another 3-4 blocks for a beach access walkway that had proper stairs. Definitely not the property owners fault, just a miniscule inconvenience
