We usually stay on St. Simon's Island but decided to try staying in Brunswick to get the view. First of all the view is incredible and we enjoyed watching sunsets on the back porch most every night. Secondly, the house is very well appointed with things like extra pillows, extra blankets, and so forth. Every bedroom has a tv (if you need it). The living room chairs have USB charging. We loved it, our dogs loved it. Five stars!

Pros and cons

Pros: convenient, clean, large back porch, beautiful sunsets. Cons: hot water takes a long time in kitchen and baths, the beds are bouncy and loud, communication with the owner is non existent after initial booking. I tried emailing, texting etc and got no response.

Wonderful stay!!!

This place is just about perfect. The view is gorgeous and we so enjoyed sitting out on the screened porch. Great living room, big kitchen, well equipped. It’s in a nice part of town, close to our convention. Would definitely book again!

Grandkids Visit

The property was well maintained and we had no real issues. A few very minor items were readdressed by the local office. Batteries in a remote and problems with the front door code. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would gladly rent the VRBO again whenever I am in the area.

It was too dirty for our likes

Upon arrival we all removed our shoes as is custom for our family. Within 10 minutes of getting situated in the home we noticed that the soles of our socks had started turning a solid shade of dark brown. We ended up having to vaccum & mop the entire home.The mopping revealed the most disgusting looking water which closely resembled the look of a portable mudd puddle. The master bedroom with the en suite bath had a used maxi pad stuck to the doorframe of the closet which is absolutely revolting. We were so grossed out that we couldn't use the closet at all. It's probably still stuck there. Master bathroom shower pan was covered in grass clippings and mud chunks. Additionally the backsplash was covered in toothpaste splatter and the previous occupants had left a filthy & crusty looking toothbrush case behind in the medicin cabinet. The entire kitchen and every cabinet was covered with white pet fur and most of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty and had food stuck to them. We essentially had to deep clean the home to be comfortable which is not acceptable. Location and property are otherwise pretty and spacious.
