Wonderful Extended Weekend Trip

Our group had the best stay here at Bear Trot! Check-in was easy and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was nice. This is in a great location close to everything. We would definitely love to stay here again!

The house was great! Worked well for our needs. Very spacious and cool layout. Kids loved making smores at night. Close to all places we wanted to go and explore. The grill didn't work for us but that is the only thing that was wrong. Great place!

This is a very cute house only 5 minutes from downtown Bryson city. Clean, spacious & tons of games for adults and kids. Would recommend.

Great house and location

House was perfect for our group of four - plenty of room, bedrooms. bathrooms and all very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Great location to Bryson City and Blue Ridge Pkwy. Management Company was very easy to work with and even called on Saturday to check in with us to make sure all was going well at the house.

Wonderful house

We loved this house! Beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was great. There were tons of games and toys for the kids to play with. The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. We had to contact the rental property once about the electric fireplace but they responded so quickly and came and fixed it. He was so helpful and very courteous. There are lot of extra space heaters, tons of towels and lots of little extras that make the house even better! We will be back and cannot say enough great things about this house!

Beautiful Cabin

We visit the Smoky Mountain National Park often and this was our first time staying on the North Carolina side of the park. Our family really enjoyed the cabin as it was close to Bryson City for groceries and food but still felt secluded. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were a little uncertain of our kids sleeping on the other side of the porch/breezeway but it worked fine and they enjoyed it. We were also close to Cherokee where we did plenty of shopping too. It was close to many park hiking trails which we really enjoyed as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Time at 131-Bear Trot

The main purpose of our visit was to bring family and friends together and to ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad Christmas Train. From the moment we arrived at the vacation home, it was a pure joy. The home was beautifully decorated with stuffed animals that the kids loved and “bear” decorations everywhere. The kids had fun finding all the bears...a lot of them! The owners were very nice in that they had the kitchen stocked with many spices to make our stay easier. The rental company was very responsive during the rental process and available to answer any questions during our stay. Overall, from all of the vacation homes we have ever rented, this ranks at the top.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bear Trot Cabin, and it exceeded all my expectations! This charming abode is not only minutes away from downtown but also conveniently close to the Polar Express festivities. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat without sacrificing proximity to key attractions. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin. The owners clearly take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The attention to detail in cleaning did not go unnoticed, and it truly enhanced the overall experience. Parking was a breeze, and the quiet area and private hot tub added to the serene ambiance. It was a relief to return to such a peaceful haven after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. The owners went above and beyond by calling on Saturday to ensure our stay was going smoothly and to inquire if we needed anything. The kitchen in Bear Trot Cabin deserves special mention. It was a joy to find a well-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the staples needed for a family meal. The convenience of having a grocery store just 5 minutes away made it super easy to enjoy a meal at the house. In summary, I highly recommend Bear Trot Cabin for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and conveniently located retreat.

From the hot tub to the fire pit and all the amenities inside were perfect. Screened in porch area was great while we waited for the rain to stop. I will 100% look at Yellow Rose for our next vacation in North Carolina.
