Great time, perfect weather

Pros: great view, room for 7 adults to have private space, loved the hot tub! We were comfortable and had a really nice family reunion with perfect weather. Cons (more like fyi, bring stuff): bring spices/oils for cooking, wine glasses (only 2 there), ice if you need right away, charcoal (listing orig said gas grill, removed from listing now).

Great Views from the Mountain Top!

Can’t say enough about the views we woke up to every morning! Kitchen was well stocked, the kids loved the foosball table, and plenty of towels was a great surprise! Only have two things that could be looked into. Turning around was a little difficult from the driveway and would have liked to have had clean windows to view the mountains through. Other than that, a great property to stay in if you have a decent sized crowd.

The property was beautiful. The view was amazing, above what we could have expected. It was the perfect place to decompress. Get away from the hustle and bustle. It went beyond our expectations. We just wish we had more time to spend here. Such tranquility.

Beautiful Views, Poorly Managed

We thoroughly enjoyed the sweeping beautiful views from this cabin. It was spacious and well stocked. We were however very frustrated that we did not have WiFi for the entirety of our stay. We were unable to use the TV or work because there was no WiFi. The property managers at Yellow Rose were not helpful and the owner was unresponsive. We called multiple times and the issue was never resolved. We will visit Bryson City again, but we will avoid Yellow Rose Properties for our next visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoy our stay very much. The home was spacious for 4 guests for our recent stay. The proximity to downtown Bryson City ~15 minute drive was great too. Directions to the home and access codes were all very helpful. We used the game room table for mahjong and cards and even got to use the hot tub which was very clean and nice. The fireplaces were not operating in the home which was disappointing and I am used to rental homes having more spices stocked and just in general more kitchen cooking supplies, large mixing bowls, pots and pans etc. I wouldn’t recommend anyone visiting to bring their own spices and some larger mixing bowls if they anticipate the need. There was no filtered water but the tap water was fine for drinking. An owners manual to the home would have been helpful too. Overall, would recommend!

Not worth the hassle

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house I stayed in was nice had a great view and a hot tub. The furniture was a little outdated but fine for the stay. I would never stay with this company again due to the issues I had and still have. There was a water issue in the original house so I had to switch to the house next door for 1 less night and was refunded but not in full for the nights stay. Have tried to reach out multiple times and no one will get back to me. On the first day at 530 already past check in someone comes to clean the hot tub and had to drain it so I had to go up to the old house to use the hot tub that night. Then on the day I was to check out at 930 when check out is at 10 the guy shows up again to clean the hot tub. I didn’t mind so much but being a single female getting a knock at the door of a rental when you’re not expecting anyone is crazy. There were 2 fireplaces inside. Neither worked. When I contacted the office about I got no response so I could not use them my entire stay. The house had a nice view but based on the communication or lack there of and not getting a full nights refund I would never stay with this company again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Clean, fresh and bright interior with a gourmet kitchen, large dining room and a game room. Then the start of the show, THE VIEW!!! It’s breathtaking. There are multiple outdoor decks to enjoy the spectacular view. I will absolutely go back next year.

Beautiful Views

Well maintained, and easy to get to. Only complaint was the wifi was out the whole stay and thus the TV's didn't work at all (the only way to watch was online TV services, no cable/antenna), nor did our devices (laptop/tablets). Customer service was less than desired. Never heard back from them after the first night. Seems to be a recurrent problem as it's in others reviews as well. Don't know if they even worried about it. Physically walked into their building and even though they knew the wifi had been out for a week they tried to blame it on the Microsoft outage (as it was that day). Completely false information! A little bit of honesty would have gone a long way.

It has a very nice open layout downstairs that shows off the views from everywhere. It’s a little odd that the upstairs balcony can only be reached through one of the bedrooms, not the master bedroom. Would have been nice if it extended all the way across. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend.

Great house, beautiful views

Having 4 bedrooms was perfect for our group, the kitchen is very well equipped with all the utensils you could need. There is a full size refrigerator and the laundry is right off the kitchen. The decks are wonderful for sitting out on in the evening. The grandsons loved the hot tub. As in other reviews, the roads are twisty and steep, but manageable. The drive up is worth it when you get there. Bryson City has everything you could need for grocery stores, restaurants, bars, etc. The Great Smokey Mountain Railroad is definitely worth going on. If we return to the area, I would rent this house again.Yellow Rose is a very professional company. We had a power outage due to high winds and we called about moving to another unit and they set us up right away. We ended up staying as the power came back on later in the evening.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 2 families stayed in this house for 5 nights. The views are wonderful. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and do our own thing if we needed to. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The place could use maintenance on a few things: kitchen cabinet doors loose, drawers not connected to the slides in various rooms, burned out light bulbs, molding in kitchen loose and the door to the upstairs bathroom door needs oil or adjusting to open and close more smoothly (noisy). It may seem like a lot, but unless you stay here, you wouldn't notice these things. These are also inexpensive fixes. Overall these did not take away from an enjoyable stay. It would very nice to include a wine bottle opener and an iron.Hot tub and outdoor furniture was great to have. Never ran out of hot water for showers and the water out of the faucet for drinking was great!

Awesome views!!

The house was clean, beautiful, and secluded!! Views were amazing. Hot tub and game room were great during our down time. We had a great week. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
