Great get away

Wonderful house close to everything. Downtown Bryson, Gatlinburg, GSMNP, Cades Cove, etc. Was a relaxing vacation and an adventure.

Resolved issues fairly

Overall a beautiful place to stay with family. Had a few issues with appliances, but was reimbursed fairly for lack of use.

The stove was not working when we arrived which should have been reported before booking the rental home. We arrived with a weeks worth of groceries that went to waste.

Quiet mountain spot

4 wheel drive highly recommended. Couldn’t turnaround in driveway, so I had to back down steep driveway when leaving. None of this was explained until “check-in.” Definitely not ideal at night or in rain. House was nice and quiet environment though.

The oven wasn’t working while we were there and we had some issues checking out because they were trying to deliver the new oven in a huge truck down this one way road so that was a little stressful. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, and the driveway wasn’t bad to get in and out of after you’ve done it once. Very close to Bryson city for breweries and shopping but a long drive from the best hiking in the area. We couldn’t get it cool enough at night, need fans in bedrooms even just standing/box fans. The kitchen could be better stocked but we made do pretty well! Overall enjoyed the vacation. Incredibly well decorated home. Strange layout, we were expecting a larger primary bedroom but the upstairs is just a bathroom and a locked…closet? Or the true primary may be up there.

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful, extremely clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The drive was a bit steeper than I anticipated, and had to back down the driveway to get out, which made me pretty nervous, but I got used to it after a couple times. The only issue we had didn't necessarily relate to the house, but my son forgot a few items on his bedstand table there. I requested they be mailed to us, and the company just said they would open a lost and found case, then I never heard anything else.
