My stay was great! It is unfortunate that on the way, the taxi driver tried to persuade me that the hotel is located far from civilisation. The taxi driver also tried to persuade me to book a different hotel closer to St. John's (Randolph Banza Taxi Service) however I held my ground and kindly declined his offer. Very glad that I did. The hotel grounds are immaculate, the service was fantastic. Getting food was no problem as the lady at reception made my stay so stress free. She helped me to place my order and when it was to late for the food delivery service, she arranged someone to collect the food for me! The hotel is just a bus ride away from town which is great because I got a bit of a tour and was able to observe Antigua a bit more. Plus the bus fare is very cheap! Less than 3 EC dollars. It was great taking the bus to town, wandering around the city centre a bit then getting the bus back to the peaceful hotel, away from all the hustle and bustle! Our room was tastefully designed. Comes with a living room, kitchen, bedroom (with enough beds for family) and bathroom. I am happy I chose this hotel and am sure others would be happy to. Definitely recommended so not sure what that taxi driver was on about!
Bus stop at the gate, quite, clean, very comfortable, in the country, safe, pleasant staff.
The bus does work ok to get around but is time consuming, locals will greet you when boarding, only $1.00 US. We had a rental car and were able to travel anywhere’s in less than 30 minute.
We would stay here again and hope to soon.
Love Antigua.
Their is no drinking water in room,
more it's an studio type of appartment,
Tawal are too old and are as where and ter. Only one tea bag was kept and sugar packs are wet and spoil.
Moreover hotel is too far almost took 20-30 minutes if drive and have to psy 22usd for one way . morning drive they charge more
Totally the stay is pathetic.
Expedia is misleading the customer.
Spacious, thoughtfully equipped suites, comfortable bed and super helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Lovely views of the surrounding rolling countryside. I really appreciated being allowed an early check in and late check-out at no extra cost. I've stayed here several times and look forward to returning soon.
To get there, with a rental car, you'll need a GPS... That's kind of the same thing wherever you need to go in Antigua :-)
The staff is great and helpful and the hotel situated in the center of the island, which makes it convenient for visiting.
There's plenty of parking space and it felt really safe.
The room was ok, could be cleaner but I have high standards regarding cleanness.
The bed was ok as well. We didn't like the feel of the bed pad (waterproof for obvious reasons).
Overall good experience and I recommend the place if you refuse to support the fancy hotels along the beaches.
