“We loved our stay at Hawksbill. The food was excellent for an AI property. The king bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had a garden view room, mini fridge stocked with drinks (2 beers, 2 OJ's, 2 cokes, 2 sprites and 2 waters) and room cleaned daily. The beaches on the property were top notch. The infinity pool was beautiful. The reef in front of beach is thriving and teaming with fish. Bring your own mask/snorkle/fins or get them free from the activities hut. There were enough……

“Beach is wonderful. Food was good when available. We spent 5 nights and food ran out at times. We were even short on plates during the weekend we were there. Shuttle to take my husband to the beach was not always available. He is 90. I wish there was a grill on the beach instead of a food truck. We had a beachfront room so the scenery was beautiful. I would return for the beautiful beach and very helpful staff. I would not return because of the constant food and plate shortages”

“Unfortunately, my overall experience at this property did not align with the Marriot brand. The poor level of service and hospitality we received at this property has tarnished our view of the Marriot brand. The lack of regard for guests and their experience was deplorable. “Overall we had a great experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. We stayed in a Gauguin Suite, which felt more like a private villa than a hotel room. Having a secluded backyard and plunge pool was a huge plus and made the stay feel very intimate and relaxing. The beach is absolutely beautiful and easily one of the resort's biggest highlights. “We very much enjoyed our stay at Hodges Bay Resort. We stayed for 6 nights in June 2026. As this is Antigua's off season, the resort was very quiet, with very few guests. We stayed in an ocean front deluxe room. The room perfect. It was very clean and spacious. The balcony overlooking the ocean was large. “Everything was perfect. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and fun, location and excursions were awesome! Barely any complaints, transportation to and from hotel was easy and transparent, room was clean and comfortable, great view! Only complaint would be the elevator was slow and there was only one but while we were there they were in the process of constructing a second elevator which would have made that problem void. “The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!”

Able to walk to the beach just be mindful coming back is uphill. Not many choices of restaurants but they will call a taxi for you. Staff was super friendly, willing to help with and definitely made me feel comfortable and safe. I would stay here again”
