The resort is a 5* location, but sadly 2* hotel. The rooms are basic but ok & clean, the maids do a fabulous job. There's only really one bar to get really good service from, the one on the beach. Really friendly & professional barman. Sadly this bar closes at 7pm every night & is a hike from the pool. Not a single glass wash machine on site, hand rinse only in between use from others.. There is another bar thats open from 12noon to 11pm just outside the restaurant, but service is painfully slow & the quality of drinks just isnt anywhere near acceptable. Often untrained bar staff having a go at mixing your drinks, so you'll get a splash of mixer with your glass near full with spirits, making it undrinkable. You're lucky if you get offered drinks whilst you're on your sunlounger once a day. I dont really want to spend my time on an all inclusive holiday hiking to get drinks. Likewise food service, hit n miss, due to zero staff training. Usually cold or luke warm food from the buffet, not a single food temp probe in site. In my opinion they shouldn't be serving roast beef still bleeding - a shame as I was looking forward to that. As others have said, this resort really isnt for anyone that has mobility issues. Its steep, there are plenty of steps, to get to breakfast, lunch or dinner is a 5min hike. The pool looks fabulous, you get to share it with a family of ducks who all have a daily bath in it & use it as a toilet. Its cleaned once a fortnight! Could be a fab resor

We had a beach front room which was literally on the beach front, the ocean directly in front. The views were amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The all inclusive food and drink was excellent - there was plenty of choice, the food was of good quality and plentiful, and the waiting staff were friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hawksbill Resort. We had a hire car which proved helpful to get around and explore the island.

Loved our stay in Hawksbill resort. The location is absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, the rooms were lovely and clean, the entertainment was fantastic and the staff were really friendly.

Smaller, more intimate resort. Liked the food options. The ocean views are spectacular - so are the sunsets. Well maintained property. Clean rooms. Transportation was readily available to explore the island. Would come back to Hawksbill again.

The room is well equipped with soda, beer, and snacks in the refrigerator. The view is spectacular. The bed is comfortable but a little hard. We had problems with the shower and it runs out of hot water after one shower. We enjoyed the privacy or our room. The staff is very accommodating. We will plan to return in the future.

Stress is not an option once you get to Antigua.

The property is beautiful. There is no bad view anywhere on the property! We had an issue with bugs in our room and just overall many many bug bites. Bring your bug spray! You need it day and night on this resort. Our air conditioner leaked all week and we weren’t able to get someone to fix it until the last night. Staff is not very friendly or accommodating. Food service is pretty bad. It was difficult to even get a water cup filled. Due to negligence on the resorts behalf of not having an umbrella properly secured, a gust of wind blew it out of the stand and I was hit in the head. Not a single staff member asked if I was ok. I mentioned it at check out and they did not even care that I was injured. Food was just ok nothing spectacular and not a lot of options at all.

The amenities were excellent. All 3 restaurants served good food, the drinks were above the average watered down at most resorts. Plenty of chairs and cabanas for shade. The rooms were promptly cleaned each day. Lots of little nooks to sit and read in private.

Un séjour qui nous a enchantés. Sans prétentions, tout est excellent sans verser dans le luxe. L‘emphase est sur le calme et la sérénité en bord de plage. Pas le bon choix pour le party. La clientèle majoritaire est composée de britanniques retraités qui viennent et y reviennent. Plages donnant sur les Caraïbes sans sargasses. Nous reviendrons .

Do not recommend this resort to anyone. The resort is focused to accommodate an older crowd. Terrible for young couples or a girls trip as there is no night life and nothing close to the resort to leave. Staff members were very rude and would roll their eyes when asked for simple things like coffee. Food was also terrible. Besides the buffet, there is one restaurant you can do for dinner but can only go once if you are staying under 7 days. That information was not disclosed to us prior. The women at the omelette bar at the buffet gave us so much attitude when we were trying to order. The resort was also unsafe. People are able to come into the resort to use the beaches. We did not see one security guard throughout our stay and at night it was very dark with limited lights. Our first night around 1 am, a man came and tried to open our door. We are unsure if it was someone who worked at the resort or another guest, but the experience was very scary as we were two girls staying by ourselves. The manager of the resort did help in getting a dead bolt installed but we were not offered a different room to feel more comfortable. Overall the views are beautiful but that’s it. The resort is extremely outdated and needs some work- better and nicer staff, enhanced security, better food options, and more night life. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We booked the beach front bungalow. It was clean and cozy. King size bed. Nice bathroom and shower. A nice patio with chairs and loungers, all right at the waters edge. The people of Hawksbill resort are friendly and the service was good. Food was good, not a huge section to choose from if I were to compare it to other all inclusive resorts I've been too. But there was plenty to choose and it was all good. Took the Hobie for a spin, did some kayaking, snorkeling, this was the best most laid back adventure my wife and I took. The beaches were so clean and beautiful. NO sargassum, just clear turquoise waters. Eden Beach;) that's where we hung out every morning and afternoon. Completely safe, and now I want to go back!!! Thank you to everyone there for this experience

The resort workers hardly smiled and they did not treat my family member and I with the same respect that they treated other guests with. When asked for a small and simple task such as a refill for water at the buffet or another cup of coffee, the resort workers rolled their eyes and looked bothered. Yet, they had no issue doing this for other tourists who were staying at the resort. The workers would go around table to table asking how everything is, but never once bothered to do that for us. Despite the resort workers attitudes, we remained appreciative, always thanked them, and presented with a smile. We never gave anyone a hard time, but the attitudes at this resort did not change. We were fortunate to have maybe 2-3 workers that were kind though. Ultimately, I was shocked by my experience here to say the least. I've traveled all over the world in the Caribbean, Europe, and United Kingdom and i never once had an experience with resort/hotel workers being so rude, like they were here. Beautiful resort though, and beautiful island. It was peaceful and quiet. Just what I needed to unwind for 9 nights, despite my experience with their poor customer service. Food could be better, but they offered a different variety every night which was nice. Beaches were beautiful (some of them were non swimmable due to rocks though). The drinks were fantastic! My rating would be higher if the staff there were friendlier.
