I booked a king sized bed garden view room. The room itself was pretty tiny but it was clean to my liking. Breakfast options are better than the dinner options. Had the most fun at the pool and beach. Drinks were strong and tasty and were served quickly. The Royal Spa was also a strong point. I had the best massage and facial. Afterwards, I was able to use the pools. Overall the resort had a good vibe. I like that it wasn’t too crowded or loud. Staff were professional, attentive and efficient but didn’t hover (which I like). I had such a relaxing time that I looked into extending my trip (I had already been there for 8 days). I you are looking for a nice, relaxing, low-key vibe, I definitely would recommend this resort.

The staff was great and we had some wonderful servers at the buffet, including our favorite Jennastar! The amenities were wonderful, beautiful pools, restaurants and entertainment. The rooms were nice and the resort is fairly new. The beach is beautiful and wasn’t terribly crowded. The weather was perfect and we had amazing time! Would definitely recommend!

The hospitality of the staff. . . Mainly the restaurant and the bar tending staff. . . They were ether very stand offish and professional or just flat out nasty. During my stay there were a few occasions where one staff member asked to get them a plate and utensil's in order for them to prepare a meal for another customer and the bar tending staff did not make me a drink when I asked because he was having a bad day and really did not provide me any service. I was mortified! That kind of behavior was unacceptable. I was extremely disappointed.

Food definitely needs to be better. Availability of certain foods like steaks definitely needs to improve. Service in restaurants is very spotty. Some restaurants have better service but some of the servers are not as experienced in serving while in other restaurants you can tell the people serving you just don't care. They are trying to be a five-star hotel by revamping one of their restaurants and putting insane prices on the menu which are not included in the all-inclusive package. Those prices on the menu are higher than the most expensive restaurants in New York. We ate there on the last day of the restaurant being free for somebody the first time they go there. So they changed it for you can dine there the first time without paying anything additional to now everybody has to pay. So thank God I didn't have to pay because The food wasn't worth the money. It was just okay but nothing special especially for the amount of money they are putting on their new menu. The steakhouse should have steaks. Their menu was not steak oriented and you can get a little filet mignon as part of the mixed grill which was just okay but when I wanted to order a brisket I was told it's not ready yet. The menu says it's a brisket that is cooked low and slow for 12 hours so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be ready to eat by 6:30 p.m. I guess you need to start preparing it at 5:00 a.m.? Or maybe the day before? Even the fancier cuts that you have to pay extra for we're not available

Resort was nicely laid out overall. Very modern and a beautiful area in general. Nice beach. Rooms were nice, but housekeeping was hit and miss at best. Some staff were very pleasant while others need to work on their customer skills. Restaurants and food were good. The Royalton app needs improvement though for usefulness while there.

The room was very clean. If you wanted you could have service done everyday. We opted out of that but they still provided us everything we needed; towels, more toilet paper, etc. Any staff member we met was nothing but kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were excellent. The resort was beautiful and sat on a breathtaking beach with the mountains right beside it. Our view couldn’t have been any better.

It's a failing hotel. Not up to 5* standards. The hotel is all inclusive but food and drinks were continually running out eg beer, tonic, gin, sparking wine and water. The buffet restaurant was always low on food stocks and exceedingly slow at replenishing dishes with minimal choice. Beautiful location and very friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel, nicely renovated. Loved the app to book dinners and excursions. Lots of towels and beach/pool chairs. Beautiful rooms. Wonderful sandy beaches with nice swimming area. Fun water toys ~ kayaks, paddle boards and catamaran. Nice a la cart restaurants with a variety of choices. Buffet and food truck were nice options during the day. Staff were very friendly and frequently checked in to see if we were enjoying our stay.
