Very disappointed about communication. I let the owners know 3 times our plans arriving by train and the time, the last time the day before we arrived so that someone would be there to meet us. Our train was slightly delayed but we arrived on a wet day and went to the apartment and no one was there to meet us. We waited around outside in the rain and then tried to phone them, but their number on Expedia is wrong and the person who answered said it had been wrong for over a year. Finally managed to get into the entrance way out of the rain and had no luck contacting the owners and Still no one came to let us into the part end. The reason I had let the people know our plans so many times is so that someone would be there to meet us and we wouldn’t be left hanging round. After 30 minutes waiting for someone to arrive, we went to a coffee place to get internet access so we could contact Expedia to sort the issue out. While we were going through this process, we got a phone call from the owners which was difficult to understand, but the little I did was them asking where we were and if we didn’t arrive soon, the person would be leaving. Rushed over and met a young guy who had gone off to meet someone. Very unprofessional and frustrating being left out in the rain wondering what was going on. After a long train trip, this was the last thing we wanted and then being made to feel that it was our problem. Once sorted, apartment is in a good area, was clean.
