This is a beautiful and comfortable walk-out basement below the hosts’ home. Great windows, with acces & views on to sheltered patio, wooded back yard and open space. The back yard is cool, green & shady, with great birdwatching. Hosts are super friendly and responsive - and gave us plenty of space too. Property is within easy walking distance of downtown and grocery store. Great oasis for a mini getaway!

A Great Getaway!

A cozy, comfortable while spacious, relaxing retreat with all of the comforts of home. Full kitchen with a kuerig for coffee, wine and beer from the host as well. The hot tub was amazing with views if the river and "Sleeping Indian" mountain. Amazing book collection and lots of relaxing spots to read.

Great get away!

We had a great stay! The location is quiet and convienent to all the in-town restaurants. We did five 14ers in the area and wanted a quiet relaxing spot to recover in between. This was perfect! Hosts were totally responsive and accomodating.

What a darling peaceful place to stay. The place was immaculate, had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The river and creek is just out the front door and is just a bike ride away from downtown.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The property was beautiful and the hosts provided everything we needed and much more than we expected ~ including a bottle of wine! The property is convenient to downtown yet very private. We especially enjoyed our time on the back patio overlooking the stream that flows through the property. A great place to stay!

Cupids Getaway

Everything you want and need is here,l there was even a backup propane tank for the grill!! The jewel of this place is the hot tub out side sitting between a river and a running water stream!

Really comfy floor plan, deer in yard, by river, clean, accommodated request to turn hot tub down since we had a 3 yo. Also kiddo hid my water sandals and i left them there. They found them and were sweet about me swinging by days later to get yhem had a 3 year old and a, only downside was

Great Weekend getaway

This was the perfect cozy couples retreat for a weekend getaway. The location was quiet, the suite was beautiful and comfortable, and the ease to get to surrounding attractions was nice. The hosts were helpful and Buena Vista is a great little town with yummy restaurants and a quaint atmosphere. Perfect for what we were wanting. Can't wait to return!

36 wedding Anniversary

My Wife and I planned on going away for our 36 wedding Anniversary. We found This Rental and booked it. The Town of Buena Vista. Was great. The Rental was clean and quiet. Our lives are very busy with 5 Adult Children and 8.5 Great Gran children. ( my middle Daughter ) is due in June hence the .5! so the quietness we experienced was very welcome. I will be sure to Rent again. Maybe this time we will shoot for a Fall Rental.

Buena Vista weekend getaway

Great location outside the town on a quiet stream with flowing water. Easy walking distance to South Main as well as downtown. King bed was fabulous. Large kitchen to fix your own meals, for those of us who’d rather not eat in restaurants three meals every day! Host are very friendly and accessible.

Nice basement apartment

My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway to relax. The property was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The property owners who live upstairs were friendly, but we seldom saw them. Nice little patio area outside as well.

Peaceful stay

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at Charlie & Kait’s rental. The space was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Of special note, the bed was the perfect level of firmness and the shower had amazing water pressure. The area was spacious and private. Excellent and kind communication from the hosts and extra special touches that made our stay even more memorable. Located in a quiet neighborhood and close to many restaurants and the riverfront. I would recommend this stay to friends and family and hope to be back for another visit soon.

Beautiful backyard with creek and hot tub at your fingertips!

Very spacious for two and extra room for an additional child or two. The backyard is beautiful with the creek just beyond the hot tub. A great way to start or end your day! The owners are so friendly, kind and responsive.

Beautiful home in a quiet cul de sac within walking distance of the town (less than a mile to the historic town) surrounded by trees with deer, squirrel, and birds for company! Very clean with fine amenities, everything you need for your stay. Our hosts Charlie and Kaitlyn greeted us with smiles and handshakes and offers to help with anything we needed. They kept in touch by text and email to make sure all was well. They made excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to visiting again. We highly recommend this Romantic Getaway!

Very lovely

The couple that runs this property are very sweet and will help you with anything! Saw deer and trout! The hot tub was amazing by their little stream! They are local walking distance to downtown, but yet you still don’t hear the madness. It’s in a culdesac but it’s completely quiet and serene! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Great accommodations and location

Lovely stay. Private private entrance and quiet. In my opinion, it is not a basement apartment as stated by a previous review. It is the first floor/ground level of a tri-level house. Hosts were very attentive but never intrusive. We walked to town for coffee and food if we chose to do so ~ less than a mile one way. Will stay here again.

Amazing Stay!

We had the most wonderful stay here! The place was spacious and extremely clean. The decor was cozy and cute. And the hot tub was nestled in the most adorable backyard. The entire home was beautiful and we even had the pleasure of meeting Charlie - he was extremely nice, professional, and we left the conversation with a huge dose of optimism for life. What a guy!
