Long weekend visit

We enjoyed our recent stay! The owner was quick to respond to my question and the check-in process was a breeze. My young adult son loved the media room and appreciated the snacks. We would stay here again and have already recommended it to other family visiting the area this Fall.

A quaint little place

We stayed overnight on a road trip to break up the driving. Check in was straight forward. The house had everything we needed for the evening. Overall, a nice stay.

Kids loved the house!

My teens and younger kids loved the house. They took full advantage of the movie room (thank you for the snacks)! We all enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing chair swings.

Great stay

Seamless check-in. House was close to SVU, which we wanted. The only thing is we could not get the lights to work outside. However, I never did contact the host to figure it out. It wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

It was just what we needed for parents weekend getaway. Fire pit and theater room were enjoyed! One of the 2 larger beds (queen or full)- was a firm memory style bed-very comfortable-the other was less comfortable due to the mattress cover that was waterproof and crinkly. I wasn’t able to get the living room fireplace to work-could be that I didn’t know how to work it or the remote needed fresh batteries. The toaster didn’t work (and yes, I turned it on). But it was quiet and nice! —just know the heat is in 2 rooms of the home-so to stay comfortable-bedroom doors need to be left open when sleeping (we were there with 30degree nights)-extra blankets are in the closets of each room. But it was great! Hope this helps.

Great Place / Great Location

Property manager was always available and quick to communicate before and during the stay. The house was clean and there were ample places to sleep (2 beds, bunk beds, and a pullout bed). The kids loved the media room with the projector and Netflix/Disney+. The only thing I would have liked was curtains on the kitchen doors and full curtains at the kitchen window instead of 3/4 curtains. Overall a wonderful and relaxing place to rest on our road trip.

Family Reunion in Lexington

The property was clean and the landlord communicated with us easily. We feel they need fans in the bedrooms because they were stuffy and the air conditioning from the other room didn’t reach into the bedrooms very well at night. Also, having to check out at 10:00am was a little too early!

A bit overpriced

Beds were adequate, gray sofa was terrible and should be disposed of because only two can fit sitting on it and you can feel the springs, home sleeps 6 but only has comfortable seating for 2, kitchen well stocked, could use some help with decor, a little rough around the edges. That said, we only needed a place to sleep and shower, and it provided that. Q

Very Disappointing - Chose not to Stay

Very disappointed upon arrival with this rental to the point we ended up not staying there. Yard was overgrown making the backyard and fire pit unusable. Inside of the house smelled of smoke and the water in the shower was leaking. This listing looks very different in person than what is online. I can say that the Host was very nice and responsive, but the house itself was disappointing and not a place we would stay.

Great Experience

The house was clean and very comfortable. The outdoor areas for the fire pit and lighted pergola were a wonderful place to spend the evening. We spent so much time outside that we didn't use the media room with the projector, but that would have been a great back up plan in case of rain.

Perfect family time

Rented this for Parents weekend and it was perfect for our family to spend time together and our VMI Rat to relax. We loved the movie room and enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on a brisk fall evening. I especially liked having the washer/dryer with bleach and an iron to clean my son’s white uniforms. The house was clean and well maintained. It had all the basics that we needed. The owner was very easy to communicate with although we had no reason to reach out to them during our stay. Looking forward to staying here many more times during the upcoming years.

Comfortable!

The host responded to my messages and answered my questions. The house was clean and well supplied. The young adults in our group enjoyed the media room and the snacks. And there was a variety of coffees and teas. The beds were comfortable. I didn’t pick up from pictures that there are houses close. And it was a little farther out from the sites and interstate than I realized. We only stayed one night and appreciated the space for our family to stay together rather than separate hotel rooms. Thank you!
