"Great central location, Friendly staff. Only one elevator. Long skinny hotel…Access from rooms to p/lot via stairs so unload luggage in lobby. Parking lot beside Hotel is adequate but some cleaning and some fresh paint needed. Coffee maker in room is pathetic… But lobby has coffee available. Overall, bathroom was good with decent amenities and large bathtub if you want to soak at end of long day. Checked out hot tub, but it was a bit green and murky so didn’t go in."

Getaway Cabin Ideal For Groups Exploring Rockies

"Property is nice and clean. Good views of the mountains. Unfortunately cabins are 1/2 mile from railroad tracks and we could hear the freight trains as they honked their horns as they approached the road crossing. Yes, freight trains run during the night. 12:30, 2 ish and 5:30AM. If you’re a heavy sleeper may not wake you but it did wake us."

"Excellent communication with the hosts. They even mailed us some items we left behind! Golden is a great area to stay away from the hustle and bustle from banff and canmore. Super clean and stocked with some basic kitchen supplies. The hot tub was very clean and over looked some great mountain scenery. Even saw a few bears in the neighborhood- Bonus! This was a wonderful base for visiting the Banff/Yoho area."

"The property is nicely perched on the hill with excellent views from the rooms balcony. The room was clean but could use some minor updating. We booked the one bedroom suite and it came with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, Kurig, sink, mugs, wines glasses, dishes and cutlery. Nice fireplace with TV above. The tv has access to local cable, no apps accessible for login (ie: Netflix, Prime, etc). The ice machine in the lobby was not functioning. The onsite restaurant didn’t look that appealing. It’s very close to the Hot Springs Pool. If you’re looking for a one night stop this was good. If you’re staying for more than one night and looking for a stay with amenities this is not it."

"Our suite (6012?) backed onto a water fountain beside the golf course which was a treat. Enjoyed watching the golfers in the late afternoon from the patio and then the wild mountain sheep (goats/deer) later in the evening. Used the bbq and full kitchen facilities to make breakfasts and 1 dinner. Large sized suite and comfortable bed with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Only minor flaw was insufficient bedroom blinds that didn't stop outdoor lighting from showing at night. Overall an excellent experience. Would definitely stay here again."

"The unit is on the third floor with only steps to get to the door. As an 80 year old luggage handling was a process, but manageable. The laundry is down stairs."

"Property is beautiful! Made a great ”home” base to come back to each evening. Directions were well laid out. Everything worked as it should. Very quiet and relaxing each evening around the fire pit with a beautiful mountain view. Very easy day drives to see many of the amazing sights Canada has to offer."
