「Stayed at the ruby apartment. Was hesitant to stay as there wasn’t many reviews but it was local to where I was working so thought it give it a try. Arrived at the apartment block fairly late but clear clear instructions before my arrival made it easy to gain access to my apartment. Key was in a key safe by the front door. 「Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here.」

「Excellent facilities, very clean and great to have off road parking. The stairs are steep and a bit of a challenge. Perhaps there should be a warning included in the house description. The motion sensitive light at the top of the stairs was very necessary. It would also be helpful to have a guide specific to the house, and not just a generic guide. We missed having a recycling bin.」

「We located the property after a change in date for a Archery tournament and the original booking could not be altered and so glad we did. Its a beautiful setting and very secure with the kit we were traveling with. We were greeted by the owners who made us fee extremely welcome. 「Very large room with separate desk area. Floors were very creaky so not good if you need to get up in the middle of the night without making noise! Breakfast was good, you could ask for vegan sausages. Disappointed on my last day they had no mushrooms so I could only eat baked beans and tomatoes from the hot buffet (plus the vegan sausages I asked for every day!) Would be nice if there was more fresh fruit too and non-dairy milk out (I presume you could ask for it).」

Minor issue to take care of otherwise a nice stay!
"A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it out for improvement in the future."
