The Old Pumping Station offers unique blend of industrial character and holiday cottage charm. Nestled in an idyllic location between Broseley and Ironbridge, the world-famous Iron Bridge is less than a mile’s walk away.
Originally home to the pumps that supplied water uphill to Broseley, the property has retained some of its historic features, including original pipework and valves, which now serve as striking focal points in the conversion.
The cottage features a fully fitted kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom, and a sofa bed, making it ideal for couples or small families. Dog-friendly and equipped with air-conditioning, the property also offers a private driveway and garden for a relaxing stay.

Very Comfortable Converted Pump Room
We were staying overnight for a Conference in Telford, so it was ideally situated. Communications were good and clear instructions for accessing the property. An enclosed garden was good to let our dogs outside safely. Well equipped, with everything needed and plenty of hot water in the shower.

It took us a few attempts to work out the padlock on the front door. Never realised you had to press a button on the bottom of it. Lol
