Comfortable bed needs a good maintenance schedule put in place. Advertised a pool which hasn't been in use for a long time.

Rundown,rubbish everywhere, first room offered smelt. Pool empty and rundown. At reception greeted by shuffling, man clad in a food stained singlet advertised photos were 10 years out of date and gave us false impression. We had paid online, but found another motel $20 cheaper which was clean, spacious. It was worth having to pay twice.

Clean and friendly

We booked in here VERY last minute, at 9pm and arrived at 9:45, but were greeted with a friendly chat and not a worry. We received a call before we arrived with directions and a "that's ok, I'll be waiting". The room was spotlessly clean and we couldn't fault it. Comfortable bed, soft pillows (a bonus in any motel!) new towels and spotless bathroom as well. We left early the next morning so didn't get a chance to say we were impressed, so this is our way to compliment the owners.

Very quiet, clean & friendly

Very quiet location off the highway. Pool was very clean & refreshing. Room was very pleasant & quiet. Beds are super comfy. Friendly staff. Short drive back to town centre for shops, bakery, clubs & pubs, or a mainly level 25 min walk. We have stayed here before over the past years, but now there is new owners we will definitely be back again.

Well-designed motel in natural setting

Opposite the entrance door (outside which one's car is parked), the room has glass doors leading to a small porch. Here you could sit looking ahead at the extensive green of grass and trees, or to the left at the high rocks over Buhladelah. On the parking side, there are also extensive lawns, a gazebo area etc. The motel itself seems comparatively new and has the usual comforts, but it is the natural setting that is a real plus. A restful place.
