We so enjoyed the property and it was perfect for a family visit. The home was very clean and items available for use were thoughtfully chosen - like providing matches for the fire pit and trash bags for the kitchen. We also liked the empty cabinets to store our food so the kitchen was not cluttered. Everyone loved the pickleball court and hot tub. The host always responded quickly and provided important details in a timely manner. We highly recommend this vacation home.

Over-all, this was an excellent stay, and would definitely recommend this place for those looking for a nicer lakefront stay with great amenities and an attentive and responsive host.I will say, there were a few extra steps after book through this platform, and an additional fee (like a security or insurance fee?) so felt like some dynamics of the listing/communcation could have been more clear. However, once booked, the host was responsive and able to answer any questions.Property was as listed and described. Any issues we had were addressed. Pickleball was a blast, Kayaks were available to use, TVs, Wifi, arcade games, etc., all worked great.Also worth mentioning, check-in/check out process was simple. There was not an exhaustive check out list, and it was very simple, which I really appreciate it.

Good but not great

The house overall was a fun time as the outdoor space really a fun and well done area. There are a a few things this house needs to make to an overall better experience. One of the main complaints is the downstairs bathroom was bad. First issue is that the bathroom has 2 doors that connects it from the outside ( the rest of the basement) and a door that connects it to the room. The door that connects it to the room has NO lock, this might not seem like an issue but the room it connects to is a double bunk bed so it affords no privacy. It is also a shared bathroom since there is another room downstairs, so anyone using the bathroom can be walked in on. The second issue is the shower head, we did note this to the property manager but nothing was done. The shower head has water coming out with 0 pressure so the it just drips straight down making it unusable. We had to have the family downstairs share bathrooms with the upstairs families.Other smaller quirks is several remotes in the house did not have batteries, so we had to buy our own. The pickleball court is nice but the surface material is not great so you get a weird bounce when playing. Our family is big pickleball lovers and plays a lot so it was a big selling point for us.This house has a lot of potential but needs to be fixed/changed. If they fix the downstairs bathroom and the pickleball surface it turns this experience into a 5 star one.
