“Yes, we had 2 small dogs. Plenty of room to walk them on the trails. Remember to be a good dog owner, pick up after your dog so we can continue to take our dogs.”

“It is a wonderful away of place when you just want to see nature and listen to birds the only issue we had was what somebody else stated the water heater small so we split the shower schedule. The bears were very active in the neighborhood.”

“We spent 4 nights at the cottage last weekend and absolutely loved it. The minimalist atmosphere was perfect for our relaxing retreat. We were able to visit many sites around Asheville enjoying the scenic drives from the cabin and come back to the peace and quiet of the horse pasture. Stepping out onto the back deck with the mountains in the distance, the horses below us and the sounds of turkeys gobbling in the distance was nothing short of rejuvenating. “The host communicated well with any questions we had. The cottage's back yard with the stream was fabulous and a great point of interest. The cottage it's self was rustic but cute. It is in a well populated area with neighbors on both sides and a camp ground across the street. We were unable to stay for the length of time we booked as we could not stay comfortably. The bed was horrible. If either of us moved the other moved like a water bed. The bed would bump the wall each time we moved as it……

“Great place! Enjoyed the front porch. Sellers had excellent communication. Great location in Black Mountain. Only a couple of minor issues: the owners may want to pass this along to their cleaning people. There was hair in the shower and dirt on the floor of the hot tub. Also, no shampoo or bath soap were provided so we had to run to the store for that. Overall, very nice!”
