"First thing I noticed was a drop of dried blood on my bathroom counter. There were no hand or wash towels to clean it up, had to request them. Toilet handle was broke, shower curtain rod was falling off wall. Water was hot enough to scold an adult much less and young child. Each day I had to return to the front desk and get my room pass card reset because I couldn't get in. Bathtub and floor were very slippery with no grab bars in shower/tub."

"The location and the view were amazing! Such an abundance of wildlife! Deer, heard a fox, and the birds! Heron, ducks, geese, bluebirds, eagles- and as we were leaving found the eagle nest, next to the house as they came screeching in. Beautiful dark sky for star gazing. The house is good, beds comfy, had all the amenities and supplies. Struggled a bit with the wall heaters ended up using the portable heaters. It was a cold weekend. I agree with the other reviewer that it could use a deep clean, especially floors, corners, baseboards. The deck is a bit wonky, need to be careful with footing. But you cannot beat the location! Would love to visit in the warmer months!"

"for the price, room was average, service was average. Charged for resort fee (twice) only stayed one night, late fall everything is really not active in the resort so why the fee, restaurant charged $30 for a glass of Chardonnay when there were other options that were never offered by the bartender."

"Hideaway at Hayes Beach was amazing It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas with our family. We were lucky enough to get snow! My husband and I enjoy walking so it was a prefect place to for it. Would definitely recommend this place"

"My friend and I used it for a weekend of relaxation. The place was impeccable, the bedding very clean. There weren't towels in the bathroom, so if you plan to shower, you will need to take yours.There is no complete kitchen, but restaurants are closed.I love this cabin. It was exactly what I was looking for."
