Had a wonderful stay. House was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the beautiful views of the sunset and farmlands. The host responded quickly to all our questions and concerns.
The loft is spacious, clean and welcoming. It is very quiet and relaxing with great views of the mountains as well as the sunrise and sunset. Perfect for friends or families visiting the area.
Such a cozy and well stocked place to stay while you explore the Cascades! Everything was spotlessly clean and Melissa was responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse Loft. The property is beautiful and comfy. The home was perfectly stocked and very clean. Thank you to the wonderful hosts!
The farmhouse is even more cozy and fantastic than I had imagined! Clean, well stocked, a washer and dryer, loads of space to spread out and cozy beds. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
The place was adorable and well stocked and decorated. The only bummer was that there aren’t blinds in the kitchen/dining area and it gets blinding light during sunrise and sunset each day.
It was close to a market and other amenities.
My sister in law and I stayed there during a 3 day cookie camp! It was the perfect place for us. Nice and quiet, quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views, even in the dreary months. The loft was huge, and had everything that we needed. It was nice and clean. We definitely want to come back for more baking adventures!
We drove over from Montana to see the tulips~ it was on my mom's bucket list! We were joined by two of her sisters and the Farmhouse Loft was such a cute place to gather after visiting the tulip gardens. Conveniently located just a short drive from the gardens and also charming La Conner waterfront. We caught heavy rain, so the Farmhouse Loft was perfect for warming up, relaxing and visiting.
The furniture and decor and all the little extra details earned this a 5-star delightful, darling, charming review!
Several people in our family had never been to t h Pacific Northwest. We are in love! Besides the natural beauty this part of the country has to offer, the property was amazing. We Al commented on the clean smell of the place when we walked in. The layout was perfect for our party. The kids could have their own beds and still be with their parents. I didn’t realize it was a second floor loft, but even that was great. The views and privacy were great.
We live in Vancouver WA and we had friends flying in to Seattle from Georgia. They wanted to see the tulips and mountains.
This location is not only clean and spacious but also in the perfect location.
Our group was 2 adult couples and we had our own space with this rental.
We visited La Conner and the tulips and explored Fidalgo and Widbey Islands. The next day we drove 1.5 hours north and spent a lovely day in Vancouver BC. Our final day we drove another 1.5 hours into the North Cascades.
This is such a great location for those who want to see all the sites!
This home could not have been more perfect for our stay. Unfortunately, the reason for the trip was a sad one, but we loved this house and it really suited our family's needs (housed two grandparents, an aunt and two kids). It is also just as you see pictured. The kitchen could use more tools, pots, Tupperware, etc. but that is hardly a complaint. We were really happy with this home and location off highway was perfect (easy to get to groceries, Sedro and Concrete (Birdsview).
The house was perfect, comfortable, and as advertised. We had a few small things we wish were different. The floors didn’t seem to have been washed and our feet were very dirty. The house didn’t seem to have been “topped off” with advertised supplies like dish soap and TP. Host was easily reached, though no solution was reached so we ended up purchasing soap. We would totally stay here again.
The second floor of this farmhouse was excellent. When we initially booked it, we were a little apprehensive of sharing a house with another party. However, the units were completely separated and we were quite impressed with the cleanliness and size of the unit. It's really larger than what the pictures portray. This is an excellent location to visit the North Cascades National Park. I would highly recommend this property for future stays in the Burlington, WA area. My only concern was with the inability to lower the thermostat below 70 degrees F. We like it cool at night, so had to open windows to get it cool and then heard road noise. Otherwise, it was an awesome stay.
Thank you Melissa for creating such a beautiful place to relax. After a full day touring Seattle, watching the sunset from the back deck was amazing. We toured N. Cascades NP, and at Melissa's suggestion, the charming town of La Conner.
The home is beautiful, and larger than it looks in the photos. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washer/dryer, and I think you should add that to the popular amenities section! It is just so peaceful! It's still very close to restaurants and groceries, but it feels like you are miles away from everything.
Melissa made everything easy - check in, check out, managing the stay. I was a little worried about the downstairs tenant, but as others have said, it was not a problem at all! Still much more private than a hotel.
My friends and I stayed here while we attended a King Arthur Cooking class. The home was only 6 minutes away from our cooking school. It is beautifully decorated and as soon as we drove up, we fell in love with it! The owner has thought of everything…coffee/hot chocolate bar, kitchen fully stocked, magnifying mirrors in the bathrooms…there was nothing we lacked. The home was immaculate as well. We were so comfortable. We would love to do this entire trip again!
I was a bit worried about having tenants downstairs but we never saw or heard them. Being surrounded by fields of crops and being quite secluded from neighbors made it a wonderful and peaceful experience. The fields of daffodils were also in full bloom while we were there. It was a trip we will always have fond memories of!
Thank you!
This was such a delightful place to stay! The layout and amenities were so nice. The surrounding farm land is beautiful and peaceful. The towns of Bow and Edison are charming. And the access to highway makes it easy to get out and explore. We would definitely stay here again!
Great location to tulip fields! Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Lovely farmhouse loft! Steep stairs to deck and upstairs entrance if someone in party has mobility issues.
