「Good and prompt communication with the owner, and we were allowed to check in earlier, which we greatly appreciated. What disappointed us somewhat was the overall cleanliness of the property. The kitchen floor and cupboards were sticky. At first glance, the bathroom appeared clean, but the extractor fan was covered in dust and there were mould spots on the ceiling. 「The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder.
